Nice course, par 61
Course is in great shape. Greens are firm and beautiful. Fairways are in great shape too. Pace of play was good, lots of Par 3’s and Par 4’s, one par 5 and it will test you
Nice Trek For Executive Course
If you want to enjoy a nice day on the course
Great day with beautiful views.
I had a 10am tee time at the course as a solo. It’s an old school Florida location with a slightly outdated clubhouse/proshop/bar but the staff is friendly. They offered free small warmup buckets of range balls to there aqua range with 3 floating green targets and you hit on mats, they ask you don’t hit any club more than a 7i so you don’t hit to the other side. There is a very small putting green with 2 holes cut in to have a putt or 2 before heading back to the cart to get your round going. The course is a par 61 with 12 par 3, 5 short par 4s and 18 is a par 5. Beginners and scratch golfers will enjoy every bit of a round hereas The course offers Great views and the feel is like a Florida paradise fun layout with well manicured landscape rough and fairways were trimmed very nicely. The Greens had just been aerated a week or so previous to my round so they were still recovering and were very slow! Some of the tee boxes were more so mounds so youd hit with the ball above or below your feet. Aside from that I’d love to play here again and I hate that I waited this long to play this course living in the area. If your looking for a resort or hotel to stay in in this area and want to get a round in of fun Florida golf in under 3 hours I’d recommend it!
Challenging Short Course
This is a Marriott resort course located between the ocean and lagoon. It plays 4,000 yards from the tips - but it has its share of challenges. Plenty of water carries. A few par-4s and a par-5 to finish. Staff were very friendly - especially to this non-resort guest. Course was in excellent condition. Greens had been punched - but were well into recovery. They do run a little slower than many Florida courses. Well located bunkers with plenty of white sand. Cart was clean and comfy - but no GPS. Pro shop had anything you need. Played as a single - enjoyed a leisurely 3hr round.. And the ocean breeze helped on a hot day.
Very nice course, fun to play
While not on the ocean, lots of water and big greens. Great course to bring any new golfers or kids. The staff was super nice and helpful
FUN course
Course was in pristine condition! Played another course yesterday that was not. Very enjoyable short course with great greens beautifully manicured fairways.
Beautiful course… Pricey
I was excited to play this course because I pass it all the time. I saw it come up on GolfNow and I booked it. The course is smaller, but it is beautifully kept.
The only thing that put me off was the attitude of starter when I got to the course. I arrived on time to play. The starter was very rude stating that I did not have a time from GolfNow because they only offer times earlier in the day from GolfNow . When I showed him my confirmation email he kind of scoffed at me. The only reason he let me play was because it was pretty wide open.
If you’re looking for a beautiful course, that is a little bit pricey and shorter this would be a great place to play.
However, I didn’t pay an expensive Green fee to play nine holes and be treated like a second class citizen. Perhaps this was a one time incident with the starter… But you never get a second chance to make a first impression.
Great Condition!!
Beautiful course. Greens are in perfect condition.
Gorgeous course
Saw tee time for OC for the first time on GolfNow and since I am a local year round resident, I was happy to know I could sign up to play. I played here previously several years back with my LPGA Amateurs (Treasure Coast chapter) league but only played the front-9 then
The course notified me last week, the day after I got my tee time on GolfNow, to let me know they were offering me an earlier tee time than the one I had signed up for which was great. Today was a gorgeous day and an easy course to get to. Bag guy was welcoming. I hesitate to review the pro shop check in folks. The man was not friendly and seemed kind of annoyed I was playing as a non member. He reminded me it was a private club (what can I do?) Saw it offered on GolfNow and I play frequently at all private courses in Florida thru both the leagues I am a member with such as PGA National Champions course, Innisbrook Copperhead, Lost Lake, to name a few, and all those courses and staff are always very welcoming even as non- guests to their resorts or clubs
Anyway did not let that bother me but we “public” are paying to play and we don’t bite. lol.
Spoke with the Pro who I wanted to meet and speak with before golfing to get his name/contact info to give to the director of the Veterans league (VGA) to get our league members on there. I was a bit taken aback that when I asked if they have leagues come on, he right away stated “this is a private club”. Ok I get it. It’s a private club. Was just asking. He did acquiesce and gave me his name/contact to have the VGA director call to discuss
So, as far as the course and play, it was fantastic. Reminded me of the Palm Beach Par-3, but at least with OC, with additional par-4’s and the 18tg/par-5, I was more challenged and actually shot my best round to date anywhere, with an 80.
Got home and booked another round for this coming Saturday as I really enjoyed the layout of the course so looking forward to playing again at ocean club
