About Marriott's Grande Vista

Part of the global Marriott Vacation Club, Grande Vista is a centrally-located Orlando resort with much to offer guests, including families and golf groups. The on-site Grande Vista Golf Club is a perfect place to hone one's golf game, thanks to a 35-acre practice facility and the Marriott Golf Academy, which offers private lessons and group golf schools. Very wet. Course not recovered from hurricane

The course was extremely wet with balls plugging on the fairways. Buggies restricted to cart paths only. It's a nice course but there was no run on the fairways which made it tricky with approach shots dropping just short of greens.

Overall Opinion

Play was quite slow at times with beginner four balls in front.

Some fairways were very wet making it very hard to play off at times!

Carts could do with Sat Nav options!

Dredging golf balls in pond major Distraction

Overall enjoyed the course. Conditions were good and greens rolling great. Issue I had was on hole 8. Two men using tractors to dredge for golf balls. Did not move. Waited on box a few minutes they did not budge. Tractor and guy was in my sight line to green and almost hit him. I paid good money to play this course and that was a major distraction. Probably will not be back.
