Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa

We played on New Year’s Day and teed off mid morning. Course was well laid out and fun for all player levels.

Only complaint was pace of play. We played the front 9 in 1.5 hours and had the course all to ourselves. The marshal said there were only three groups on the course. We caught up with them at 14 and play ground to a halt. The first group was painfully slow and all suffered. With only three groups you’d have thought they could have asked the first group to pick up the pace or let the only other groups play through

Beautiful course challenging and in pristine condition. Well worth a visit

Totally disappointed in Oak Marsh course. Glad I didn't pay full price, $170 weekend, got Hot Deal for $94. Would pay more than $40 for this course. Greens poor, fairways poor, tee boxes poor. Pictures on website make it look like your playing w ocean views, playing thru Marsh. Only 2 holes have view of Marsh, no ocean views. Not worth $, muni at home in better condition.

Such a Beautiful Course with Magnificent Marsh Views and Awesome Oak Trees.

This is a beautiful course in great condition. It was very challenging. The pros, starter, beverage cart staff and cart staff were very friendly. Bartenders seemed like they didn’t want to be there.

Course is always in great condition and everyone is always friendly and fun to chat with.

THERE ARE VERY FEW COURSES IN NORTH FLORIDA THAT ARE THE EQUAL TO OAK MARSH.

I AM A MEMBER OF SAWGRASS BUT RATES ARE TOO PROHIBITIVE OVER THE HOLIDAYS TO BRING MY 3 SONS TO SAWGRASS TO PLAY( SAD) SO WE HIKED UP TO OAK MARSH.

THERE IS NO EQUAL TO THIS GOLF COURSE AND THE STAFF , THE AMENITIES and the Scenery.

THE STAFF IS GREAT, THE STARTER IS GREAT, THEY DON'T HOSE YOU WTH PAYING FOR GOLF BALLS AND THE COURSE IS AS DIFFICULT AS YOU PLAY IT.

I AM A 3 HCP AND MY SONS ARE 18 TO 22 HCP'S. (But can Hit it when their swings are in Sync)

WE PLAYED THE GOLD'S AT 6600 Because the Blues were only 6000 but its a great test from the Golds with some Long Forced carries.

I have played their now closed "OCEAN COURSE" and it doesn't hold a candle to the Marsh and the fact that it's closed is a non event to me.

This course is - by far- the best course on Golf Now and if you make the hour drive, you will NOT be disappointed. I promise.

The GREENS were excellent, the fairways good and the traps were well maintained. They DON"T Cut CORNERS on Maintaining the area of Play. People need to Fix their ballmarks and drop sand n their divots BUT thats the Golfer's fault.

There are some great Holes, as well. # 9 is Superior. A Long PAr 5 along the Marsh.

# 16 Par 3 is one of the best par 3's you'll ever play and 17 from the GOLD's is a 200 yard forced carry playing at about 425 yards and the #1 HCP hole.

18 is a slight dogleg PAr 5 with a Possibility of getting home in 2 IF you can carry the Marsh n front of the Green... These are the 3 best holes in a ROW and a great way to Finish with the Sun to your back and the Low Country Intracoastal open to the West.

Miss it at your peril.... This course needs to stay OPen and operating at the highest standards and make the DRIVE. It is SO WORTH IT!!!

The BAR is great and the Restaurant and the BAck porch area that overlook the 9th Green is a sweet spot.

This is a PRIVATE COURSE level facility. Not some Chincy, Low end Course with a dreadful facility and a negative Vibe from the staff.....Even the Cart Employees are upbeat and Kind....

I absolutely LOVE this place and would play it over ANY Course listed on GOLF NOW!

It is the Equal of Sawgrass and Marsh Landing better than the Valley Course and friendlier than the Stadium Course. Nothing else on Golf Now is even close....

The experience of playing Oak Marsh is the best. I play there quite often and it is always a pleasure. The golf course is in awesome condition and they are always making improvements. They truly care about the course presentation and set up. All of the staff from the shop to the cart staff and grounds crew is outstanding. I would highly recommend taking in a round at Oak Marsh.

Bring your A game for putting. Two putts per hole will be a good day. Greens are quick and hard to read.

Course was in the best shape I’ve ever seen it. Greens are never fast but roll true and fairways were great!

We had a late tee time. Staff was very nice. Sprinklers on the first 4 holes was maddening. But course was in great shape.

We had a great time. It is very design golf course. We loved it.

Beautiful course with gorgeous moss covers trees. Course in very good condition. Staff friendly and helpful. Lucky it was a very slow day so we basically had the course to ourselves. Imagine it could get very crowded if there was a conference at the Omni who were playing golf as a bonus.
