Great Course
I was wowed from the moment I was greeted in the Pro Shop. The pro was friendly and welcoming. He even found a way to save me some money on my round. We moved on to the driving range where the starter gave us a rundown on the facilities and course. Again, extremely friendly. The course was in superior condition. We hardly saw another person our entire round. Next time I’m in Orlando, I’m headed back to Hawk’s Landing.
Poor conditions
Not a quality course for the fees. I’d rate local
munis better than this. Expected more from the Marriott Corp.
Fun course!
Our group really liked the course and will come back next trip in. The yardage is deceiving, a couple of us are 13 handicaps and are comfortable at 6300 yards. But we also had a couple 20+ handicappers in our group so we took the starter's recommendation and played it way forward, the Blue Tees at 5401. Wise move. The course is Par 70 and there are several doglegs where you have to hit to a spot to see the green. If you stay out of trouble on the par 4's and 5's you can score as Par 3's are fairly short and there is a drivable par 4 that is an easy par if not birdie. 18 is an island par three that makes the finish interesting. Use your Marriott reward number to save $15.
Nice round
Overall, good impression. Finding the way in to the course is a little challenging because of location. Parking was confusing.
Pro shop folks were very good, checkin was easy. Cart with rental clubs was easy to get , pre round conversation with starter was pleasant and professional. Didn’t see beverage cart entire front nine and grill at the turn was already closed for the day.
Round was well oaced and ok. Seemed odd to have 4 par threes in the 95-110 yd range. But fair based on tee chosen.
Played great after the rain
I was delayed due to a classic Fl summer storm. After waiting I believed it was going to be a wet course obviously, but no, course drained perfectly,. Definitely recommend this course! Fun layout, beautifully kept.
Do not hesitate to play this one.
Outside of figuring out how to park there great overall experience
Outside of figuring out how to park there great overall experience...
Course was in pretty darn good shape parking there is weird and a pain in the butt it must’ve taken me a half hour to get to the golf course walking which was kind of ridiculous didn’t really know where to park but once I started playing it was fantastic drier than 90% of the golf course is there which was excellent because you could take the carts into the fairways on most of them the weirdest part of the golf course is now the new 18th hole which played 200 yards to an island green which is not easy to hit!!
not exceptionally long but extremely challenging
risk reward: you can go for it and if you succeed a low score awaits, if you fail your score will balloon and you may have to stop in the clubhouse to purchase an extra sleeve. Water on most holes, sand traps strategically placed...challenging but fun.
Great track
Not your typical resort course, have to be strategic with tee shots in order to have a shot. Short course but deceptively difficult. 18th island hole is fun. Overall great experience.
Solid Course even after the Re-Route
Course is in great shape. Greens rolled true. The new 10th and 18th works out well. Par 70, now, which is fine. lol
July 4
Course in great shape despite recent rains. Pace of play a tad slow. Would definitely play again. Glad to see this course back up in perfect playing condition at reasonable price for for this time of year.
Course is a must play(GEM)
This course is a must play when you’re in Orlando don’t forget to put this one on your list you will not regret it beautiful day on the course. Most courses in the area were barely playable because of heavy rains and the score still wasn’t very good playable condition drains well including bunkers. Other courses in the area the bunkers were full of water several feet high not this one.I will play again when I’m in town thumbs up to the Marriott Hawk’s Landing course.
Good Deal for a Good Track!
Course is always in good shape. Fun track but water on 15 holes so bring your A game.
A must play while in Orlando.
First time
Really nice course. Excellent pace until we ran into multiple groups backed up on the back nine.
Can you elaborate?
