Sheraton Panama City Beach Golf and Spa Resort

Fun but nothing special . Everyone stresses water on 16 holes but not really in play at all. Greens are generous but very weedy. The day we played the only thing slower was the pace of play - over 5 hours. No club house at the turn but there are water coolers on the course. Will play again if before I play some of the others in the area.

There are only 2 reasons why I gave it 4/5 instead of 5/5. First is that after holes 4 and 5 it’s hard to make the rest of the course feel amazing. Those holes just beat it all and makes all the other holes feel the same. Second is there are a decent amount of weeds in the green, but they did roll fairly well.

Overall though, the course is amazing! If you get the chance to play it through a hot deal I would recommend it!

Course was great but play was terribly slow. Allowed a group of 5 to play and clogged up the course. Took over 5 hours to play a round. Other than that, it was good.

The greens were the worst I’ve ever played. There were weeds growing in the greens they were slow as all slow and I had to pick over grown weeds out of my putting line. Not worth $110 for 18 holes.

The staff was great! Came an absolute food early, however was still able to play and the course was not soaked through. The fairways were very nice and played well. The greens however appeared to need some work. It looked like the holes had been moved frequently and the places that had the grass replaced had sunken in causing for some bumpy putts at times. Overall the course was in great shape. I would come back and play again.

From the time we got out of our vehicle the staff took care of us! Well worth the $!!!

Truthfully this is the only game in town.

Played Monday- course Great , greens really good and quick -Pace of play -mediocre…4 Hrs 15 mins .

Wednesday- Rained as we pulled up to 1st tee box - got completely drenched- took 5 holes to start to dry out, greens still good and fast- pace of play 4:10

FRIDAY- here’s where it gets weird -2nd group out… played in 3 hrs 20 mins- pushed the whole way around by a foursome with 4 carts🤦🏻‍♂️… here’s the confusing part….greens were AWFUL! Slow and incredibly bumpy…but the entire staff was incredible ! 5 star treatment

Considering this is a Jack Nicklaus course in a gated community and the price I expected more. Miost of the greens were in poor shape. There were only rakes on two of the holes.. Our home courses the Donald Ross and Sultan’s Run in southern Indiana are in so much better shape and half the price. The only reason we would come back is because your staff is top notch!

Other than the greens at the end of its aeration, the course was gorgeous.

Course in good shape green's recently punched but they still rolled pretty good but the views are outstanding very fun Course to play.

We came to the area for vacation and brought my two sons (16&17) and one of their buddies. They are learning to play and course wasn’t too much for them but still challenging enough for a seasoned golfer. Staff was more than excellent from the cashier to the starter and the views are amazing! Can’t say enough about the entire experience and we will definitely be back!

Played this course on a whim and had a very good time. Course was challenging, but not so challenging that you felt like you were struggling to play. We only waited to tee off for a few mins per hole, it seemed like the cart-girl had customers that were taking too long to get what they want. This is a resort course, so it’s not a huge deal. I did have to dock them because they did a green aeration, and we didn’t know until we got to the course. So, I do feel as though the $110 for a tee time did feel excessive. Fairways, bunkers, and rough were all managed really well. They looked and played great. Staff in the clubhouse and concessions were great. The starter was concise and explained the course and it’s features well. The cart jockeys were quick and loaded our clubs up and even cleaned them when were done. I do wish we were able to hit the clubhouse after the turn, but the way the course is laid out, you’re as far away from the clubhouse as you could get between 9 and 10. So, stock up on waters if you do play here. If you’re into really hitting the bottle before you play, the clubhouse did have an actual bar, and the cart-girl does have swing-lube on hand.

Jack had better plans but the course was just ok, not worth the price at least not right now
