Great course
It was Father’s Day. Played with my nephew and had a great time. Played from the gold, shot a 74. Been there many times and will continue to book tee times again and again.

Lots of course maintenance going on. I’d give them a few weeks to work it out. Price was right and good course for a practice round.

Thank you for your review of Shula's Golf Club. We had aerified tee boxes and approaches the week of June 13th. We aerfied our greens on June 18. With cooperation from mother nature, the greens should heal in about 10-12 days. We hope to see you again very soon.

Every time I come visit my brother to play, this where we play, great course and great greens.... everybody is very nice and friendly. The course is always in good shape and the greens are really good!!!!

I play here all the time, at least three times a month. There are many things that are wrong with this place. First of all, there is never ice or water in the cooler by the putting green! Dont hold your breath if you are on the course... i dont get it, wether i play morning or afternoon, there is never water nor ice in there! Also all of the ball wash around the course are as dry as the Mojave desert! The carts never have sand to replace your divots and i quote, “because we have someone who replaces them in the morning”.... right....! There is never a starter and never ever a ranger! Pace of play is ridiculous! By ridiculous i mean 5.5 hours for 18 and skipping a few holes to het around foursomes... i wasnt playing alone, i was in a threesome! Another quote, “we cant do anything about pace of play”.... well that explains not having a ranger or a starter! Also the range, rarely does it have balls in the machine, you pay your six bucks for a bucket, and there aren’t any balls in there, you have to go back to the clubhouse to tell them and wait for billy to go retrieve the balls! I mean it’s crazy, i can keep om going but why, the only reason i play here its because its location and hot deals... never will i pay full price for this .....

Thank you for your review of Shula's Golf Club. I'm sorry to hear that you did not have an enjoyable experience this past Saturday. We have recently hired new outside staff members. We will continue to re-train them on how to properly prepare amenities such as the water/ice cooler and sand buckets on the carts. Ball washers are checked and filled every Friday by the golf course maintenance staff. There could be a washer that has a leak. We will check all washers to find out. Starters are scheduled 7 days a week from 6am-2pm. Rangers are scheduled 5 days a week at various times depending on how busy the course is. On weekends, the PM ranger will act as the starter until play slows down. This past Saturday our afternoon Ranger was not able to come in. The morning Ranger was on duty til 2:30pm. Groups were playing in 4 hours or less by 10am. Later groups were playing in 4.5 hours.
We will continue to work with our afternoon staff to make sure that the range machine stays full with balls. We have many repeat guests who enjoy their experience with us. I hope that this was an isolated incident for you and that you have a much better experience during your next round with us.

Nice Outing, BUT.
I've played this course several times and usually find it a pleasant experience. The young attendants were not very attentive. The worse incident was when our threesome arrived at the par 3 fifth hole, we noticed a group of six golfers with four carts playing the par 5 7th. After realizing they were not going to allow us to play thorough, we skipped the 12th hole and continued our round. This should never have happened considering where the starter and attendants are usually stationed. We didn't bother calling the pro shop to complain. perhaps in the future we will

Thank you for your review of Shula's Golf Club. There are times when golfers do not listen to starter's instructions and play as 5 or 6. Holes 5 - 7 are the farthest from the clubhouse. We did not have a Ranger on staff that day due the course being quiet. Please contact the Pro-Shop immediately if you ever encounter multiple groups playing together. We will send a staff member out right away to take care of the issue. Your comments are very much appreciated. Senator Course
My 1st time; very nice course. back nine very tough; tons of water. Wish the greens were a bit quicker (like the practice green).

Our greens typically run about 9.5 to 10.0 on the stimpmeter unless there is a special event like a college tournament or member/guest. Not sure what time you played as the green speeds vary depending on the time of day you played. We hope to see you again in the near future.
