Shula's Hotel & Golf Club

We decided to play this course because it was very close to where we were staying for the weekend. We were very pleased that we did decide to play at Shula's Golf Club. The course was in good shape and the staff was super.

I went with a few colleagues using the GolfNow app, and it was a great value for the course. The staff was exceptional and I look forward to returning to this course!

If you are looking for a high end course this probably isn't your place. However if you are looking for a cheaper round on a decent course this is probably your place. I paid $35 for a 7 am tee time and finished in 3 hours. The course is in decent shape and is a good layout and fun to play. The course is soft. Not firm and fast at all. Not much roll out on the fairways or greens. Greens are a little slow and have a few blemishes in them but roll smooth. There are some rough spots in the fairways and tee boxes and 10 fairway had some GUR. But nothing that really hindered my play. There were weeds in the fairway and tees too. But they were spraying for them the morning I played. The front is the easier of the two 9s. Only 2 holes have water and one is an island green. The par 5 7th is a tough hole. There are more trees and it's not as open. The back is more open. But there is water everywhere after you get past 10. If you are looking for a fun enjoyable round. Go give it a try.

Great Course to play in dade county

I enjoyed a great round of golf on 6/15. The course and greens were in great shape, and I even took a snapshot of an iguana on #2 Tee Box. I've played here several times, this was the "Best".

Great greens, tough slopes. Good fairways. Fun course to play. Wish there was more water to drink around the course bc it was hot and the drink cart never came around. The range is horrible but the course is really nice especially for the price.

I got a 'Hot Deal' from GolfNow.com. The course was in good condition with the greens being very good. I've played this course several times and it's always been a challenging and attractive layout. I had lunch there first, which was also good. I definitely recommend Shula's to everyone, especially if you can get the Hot Deal and if you're a Dolphin fan and like being reminded of the 'Perfect Season' and their 2nd and last Super Bowl victory in '74.

Was very winding during play but overall the course was enjoyable to play. Course conditions OK but expected this time of year.

I tend to play this course more often than other courses in the area, because I believe it is a great value for the money. Pace of play is hit or miss depending on the time of day, due to some players playing for further back then they should relative to their skill level. Course conditions are usually good, save for the 11th hole, which has water on both sides and thus makes for an occasionally soggy fairway (not unplayable, just a different feel from other fairways on the course). Staff, in particular by the clubhouse, are all very friendly. Kris in particular has always been awesome.

Its a very nice designe course. I thing that need more mantenicen. The price is ok.

The worse are the golf cart. Without gps.

First time I've played this course and I was positively surprised. In my opinion, one of the best courses of its price range in the Miami area.

PGA Tour Latinoamerica

To start got there for my tee time to find out they didn't honor the golfnow tee time. Finally got a tee time and the course was 20 mins behind. It was a bit busy, no ranger to be found. We were stuck behind a 4 some that thought they were playing the masters. Slow as can be had to wait on every whole. 3 groups on a par 3 should never happen. The course is in good shape, greens nice. The worse part they have valet parking and I see my car parked up front I go to it and it's open. So all in all it could of been a better day. But the course is nice.

We have never been so humiliated in public in all our years playing at courses across the country. The starter's needless disparagement of our golf game caused us to leave mid-round. We will never return to this course despite our having played there without any issue in the past. We had never seen this starter before but his conduct was sufficient for us to swear off this course forever more.

I've played the course a hand full of times before and it's always been in good shape. This time it seemed to be in even better condition. The greens were almost perfect, just a little slow. Looks and feels like the course has been well maintained! Can't wait to play it again and again!

The Senator Course at Shula's Golf Club is an above average course. Greens were in good condition when I played. Course has lots of water hazards, but nothing overly penal. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Front nine presents more scoring opportunities than the back nine in my opinion. Worth the trip from Miami.

First time playing here and it was a great experience. Some fairways are under repair but the greens are perfect and the conditions are generally very nicely maintained. The pin placement was very difficult because they had a tournament there earlier that morning but still a very manageable course. Front 9 are much wider than than the back 9 where water comes into play almost every hole. I shot 2 over on the front and 8 over on the back because of water. We also started on 10 so I attribute about 2 strokes to being my "warm up".

Cafeteria served great food at very reasonable prices. Locker room was basic but clean. All and all a very good course for the money. I would pay $50 to play there and got my Hot Deal for 30$ or so.

My first visit to this golf club. Staff was very friendly and was able to rent clubs with ease. Course was in good shape but greens were in excellent shape. Plan to come back soon.
