Greens…
…better in just 4 or 5 days since last played. Should be perfect soon.
Recent aeration, tee boxes very hard surface.
Aside from the recent aeration and the tee boxes being so firm that it’s difficult to get a tee into the ground, the course is in very good condition. The fairways are a bit yellow in spots but remain highly playable. The layout is excellent, with plenty of water coming into play on the first six holes, creating an enjoyable challenge.
The recent renovations have noticeably improved playability, and the greens feature some excellent undulations, particularly toward the back portions, which help keep shots on the putting surface and add interest to approach shots.
The only area that could use some attention is the tee boxes. They would benefit from plugging and sand filling, or whatever course management determines is the best solution, to soften them up and improve conditions for players.
Overall, a very enjoyable course that continues to improve with the recent upgrades.
Decent Fun
So let me start with the staff who are super friendly from Pro shop to starter. Course can be challenging with wind and lots of water. A couple of super severe doglegs left and right. Greens were sanded and aerated, very slow, and not much break. In a couple of weeks may be much better. Tees were so hard (need water) couldn’t get a tee in the ground. Overall a fun course and can be considered a little tight on some of the fairways. Would play again for the right cost. Course reminds me of Cocoa Beach CC.
Greens are best around!
They redid their greens last year and they are the best around!
First Time Playing....Will Be Back!
The course was in fantastic condition. Fairways had been recently disc aerated but were not an issue. Greens were smooth and rolled true. We look forward to the next time we get out there and play this course!
Sandy greens
Very difficult to put with all the sand causing inconsistency in speed and breaks. Other wise course was decent
Best place to play in Brevard
It was a pleasure to play again at TGO. The greens are some of the best we ever play and the course was in great shape even after the last few days of rains. We also took advantage of Taco Thursday at the Blue Heron restaurant after the round. We’ll definitely be back.
The Great Outdoors Review
The is in great shape. The staff were truly nice and helpful. The cost of the round was reasonable. The only opportunity for improvement is around the tee boxes, on many of them you could have used a hammer to get the tee in the ground.
Greens slower than normal
The course was in great shape, but greens were slower than they have been. They rolled great and we enjoyed the day and Taco Thursday at the Heron restaurant to finish it off. We’ll be back.
TGO Golf
Nice course layout & greens were well maintained, albeit a bit on the slow side. They just vericut the fairways so, it would have been nice to know about that in advance. PLEASE aerate your tee boxes. On most boxes I could hardly jam a tee in the ground.

Love the place! Not that easy, if your driver isn’t 100% working. Will go again, and try to have a better score. Worth it 100%
Most improved, nice course.
The course is getting better each time I play it, they have re-done the greens, some fairway bunkers, golf cart paths. Very different course, plays long, but placement is key. Hot day, we had some waiting but reasonable. Overall a fun experience, will play again.
Great Bones
Great track,OB and water on wvery hole. Played from blue tees. Greens pretty, but slow. Definitely recommend!
