Biggest “wild” gator I’ve ever seen. Yes that’s my buddy’s ball close to his head and no he didn’t go get it! Photo submitted by volsfan32119 on 01/12/2025

Fun golf course
Enjoyed golfing there because the golf course was in good shape. No hole was alike.lots of creatures to see.
Good value for the money
Fairways and greens were in excellent condition! One of the few courses I've played recently where the all the fairways had green grass! Greens were fast and mostly rolled true. Some tee boxes needed work but overall decent! The pace of play was slow as some holes there were three groups waiting at the tee box! Overall a pleasant surprise and a course I intend to play again!
Good times
My foursome had a great time at THO, love this place!
One if my favorite courses
The layout is good, and just long enough from any of the four tees.
Fun course to play and the starters are always friendly. It was a misting rain type of morning so not too many people were playing so pace went quick. Even when the rain the fairways still were hard and rolled and the greens were fast.
Restaurant has friendly staff and great food!
Didn’t even get out. The starter informed me that the course was jam packed and that I probably wouldn’t get all 18 holes in and my t time was 1:24 Just another course cramming as many players in for the money and don’t care about the afternoon play. Also took a while to find the clubhouse that was connected to the restaurant on the side with the “clubhouse “ sign on the side. You can’t see it from the parking lot unless you know where to go. Drove 40 min for nothing.
Ridiculous
It was a beautiful day until I got here. The pro shop guy was overloaded and would take care of anyone on the phone before the people that were actually there. The starter was a moron as well. He finally let me go 30 minutes after my scheduled teatime, long after the group with my tee time had already teed off. Then he seemed completely clueless
You ruined my experience with ignorance

Always Great!
This is at least my fourth review of this course and I can't say enough good things about it.
This day was exceptional. As we waited in our cart for the starter we witnessed a spectacular rocket launch from Kennedy Space Center 20 miles away in the middle of the day. We also saw at least three alligators either swimming or sunbathing in the course's plentiful water hazards.
The fairways were in "winter" shape, causing our balls to roll forever - more often a good thing unless you were close to water or wooded areas. The greens were fast but true.
Pace of play on a Thursday afternoon was surprisingly slow, most likely because of the beautiful day and the popularity of the course. We were a twosome behind several foursomes, but still finished in just over 4 hours.
This is our go-to course whenever we're in the area, even driving from as far away as Davenport. We will play here everytime we have the chance.
Freezing day still better than shoveling snow.
Wife and I went out at 11:30 to 44 degrees and wind chill about 37. Sunny winter FL day improved by great conditions and warm staff.
Good course on a wet day
Unfortunately it rained, but the course is in good shape.
Open course, I only saw one other golfer. Played in just over 3hrs, greens are good rolling fast, some shot placement is required to have a go at greens. Overall a fun course to play.
