Excellent conditions
Best course in the area! Great value superb conditions .Plays like a course charging much more.
Great course
Course was beautiful. Greens and fairways were excellent for late February.
Course is good, play is slow.
The course is in good condition, tee boxes are beat up, greens are mostly good, some growth and rough patches, overall good shape for this time of year.
Play was slow, lots of waiting.
No notice and no follow up
We have played this course before this particular outing and enjoyed the round. This course is lovely to play and staff are always so friendly. However, this time out, our 8some was not told there would a tournament just ahead of us. They should not have offered our tee times to the public, as these players ahead were SO slow it was pathetic. It was a 5 hour round, when previously, on a normal day, we've played it is 3 h 45 m...what a difference. I called twice the next day, but, the pro was in meetings, and again the next day when I called.. I referenced the outing to the lady who received my call on the 2nd day of calling and she said she would have him call me. I am still waiting and that is why this review is over a week later. We were VERY disappointed. Best to call and see what is going on ahead of your outing.
A Bit wet
We love this course layout, but it seems like every time we play here it rains. Greens in good shape but a little slow (hadn’t been cut) and there were quite s as few wet areas. All in all not a bad track
great course
great course for the money. greens fairways in great shape tee box could use a little work but every tee box in Florida could
Great Time if You Have Time
Second time playing TGO and it was fun as always. The backup of 4 groups (like last time) is something the course management must be aware of as residents indicated- they often play elsewhere due to the slow play.
If you're not in a hurry- you'll have a fine time.
