Yes, the course plays long here on the Gulf coast at sea level and with less fairway run out so it's often encouraged to move up a set of tees compared to your home course.

Thanks for the review, you are correct that we were a week removed from spring aerification when you played and the course continues to heal up nicely with the recent much needed rain and the warming overnight temps. We make a point of deeply discounting our rates for two full weeks post-aerification to account for the recovering conditions. We regret you didn't seem to see the value despite our efforts.
