No amenities and the course is in a swamp that smells of garbage. The greens are bare and unputtable. All the fairways were muddy and bare as well. The entire course is unkept and for them to have the audacity to charge over $150 for a municipal course is obscene. Stay away from this scam while there are real courses close by

Layout is amazing. Greens now are to slow. Difficult to play with green to slow. It seems that they were aerated recently.

It’s a must do! For sure I ll be back.

My biggest disappointment with Crandon Golf Course was the complete lack of service and amenities, especially considering what they charge. We paid nearly $400 for two players to play 18 holes, and from the moment we arrived, the experience simply did not match the price.

When we pulled up, there was nobody there to greet us, nobody to help unload our golf bags, and nobody to assist with putting our bags onto the cart. We were basically left to handle everything ourselves. I’ve played plenty of courses that cost significantly less and received 10x better service and hospitality.

Then, to add salt to the wound, the carts weren’t stocked with tees, there were no towels, and there wasn’t even ice in the ice bucket despite it being 90+ degrees in Miami. These may sound like small things individually, but when you’re charging close to $200 per player, those details matter. They’re part of what separates a premium golf experience from simply paying a premium price.

I’m not expecting to be treated like royalty, but I do expect the experience to somewhat justify the cost. At Crandon, I honestly found myself wondering: what exactly am I paying this much for? I’ve paid far less at other South Florida courses and received considerably better service, amenities, and overall hospitality.

The course itself may have its positives, but from a service and value standpoint, this was easily one of the most disappointing golf experiences I’ve had for the money.

The fairways are in excellent shape, and many holes were challenging for the average golfer. A few greens had some burn spots, but overall were in fairly good shape as well. I found the front 9 to be a little easier than the back 9 which makes sense, since the back 9 is longer and has more Par 5's. On a hot day you will struggle to finish even from the whites.

Really enjoyed the round!! Everything was fantastic except a raccoon stole some of my crackers.

The course layout is great, but the conditions could be better.

It’s a tough course to maintain due to its location I’m sure. I’ve played it a few times and I don’t think the greens have ever been in good shape. Great layout and scenery however.

Layout was cool, but they sanded the greens and didn’t say anything on GOLFNOW or at check-in. Found out on the 1st green. Pretty disappointing considering I drove over an hour and paid $180.

I have the patron card which is like the membership card for Crandon. Even having this they charge a steep $148.00 for the round. Conditions are awful even though theres like 400 workers around the course pretending to work. None of the workers respected to stop cutting grass around the greens or fairways. Fairways looked like rough and rough looked like Jumanji. It sucks for Crandon to have the guts to disrespect golfers paying top dollars and having such a bad maintenance of the course.

played today 5/30/2026. course was infested with thousands of mosquitoes. Advise to avoid until they control the issue.

Fairways and greens looked like palmetto golf course but it’s double the price. It has a better more challenging layout but conditions are really poor and not worth the money at all. Pace of play is also awful, paid for 18 and left after 10 because I’d already spent 3 and a half hours playing as a single. Wouldn’t come back at all.
