Well maintained and beautiful course definitely a course to check out
Crandon never disappoints
This is Miami's best and most difficult golf course. It plays pretty long, even from the whites. For my round winds were at 15-20mph, which made it feel nice and breezy on a warm day, but also made the game extra difficult. Many times I had to club up by two or three to account for the wind in my face. Some of the greens had decent patches of sand, that's the only negative. The pace of play was outstanding.
Challenging
Challenging, many groups in front of me, took me 4 hours to play 18 holes.
Forrest, iguana, lakes and mosquitoes, I will come back asap.
Not your typical golf course.
GPS didn’t eork
GPS is good only to inform that they close at 6:30
Poor management
Unable to finish our round and told to finish our round on #15. Not a single marshal all day and had to wait on every shot. Nothing was being monitored on the course. I drove 1 1/2 hrs to play this course and I will not do it again.
Black Shirt and Rain day
Hi , in my experience in key biscayn starter didn’t let me play because I was wearing a black shirt I ask him a solution and he tell my bought a shirt or I refund your money . I was alredy in the club car ready to my tee time so I bought a shirt in the pro shop . The greens are trash .
Also they let my only play 8 holes because it was raining when I ask them for my refund of 9 holes they tell my talk with GolfNow .
Bad day, bad greens, bad experience
Beat course in Miami!
Crandon is by far the best and most beautiful course in Miami. Staff can be intense but that’s usually only on the first two holes. Ignore them, keep going and enjoy the scenery and the golf.
Course is not maintained at all right now
I was super disappointed with the condition of the course - fairways, greens, teeboxes, everything. The entire course was dried out and the grass was dead everywhere. No point in hitting the fairway since you can't hit off of dead grass.
There were no marshalls on the course holding people accountable to the 4 hour window they should be finishing 18 holes in, and it took us 5 hours and 15 minutes to play.
Unless the course does right by its customers (us), I can't see myself returning to this course.
