Waldorf Astoria Orlando

I want to start with the course is in amazing shape and the staff was top notch (minus the maintenance crew who had no regard for any golfer on the course). With that said, I think you either love or hate a Rees Jones design. In this case, it was a hate for me. There are multiple holes on the front where you choice is 220 off the tee and 170 in or take on the fairway bunkers and have a bunker shot in. I don’t mind the choice but I don’t want to make the same choice four times in the first 8 holes. There wasn’t much change on the back. You could carry 230 over water or hit a 200 yard shot and have 170 in. Just not much fun to me.

From complimentary valet parking to practice facilities and the course itself…excellence. This is a very challenging course with the well placed bunkers and elevated greens. Everything is in beautiful shape, and I thought it was a bargain at $95. Course tip; fly the greens at your own peril, it can be a nasty return shot.

We played, knowing that the greens had been recently aerated, and were very impressed with the course.

All staff were very friendly and made sure we had the best experience.

Course layout is good and very challenging with lots of elevated greens and large, well placed, bunkers.

Although the greens had recently been aerated they remained very playable and did not detract from our experience (it was appreciated to play at a considerably reduced rate due to the aeration).

We will play again. Thoroughly recommend this course.

Course was awesome. Greens had been recently punch but was aware of this when booking tee time. Staff was awesome.

I have played most of the golf courses in the Orlando area but never the Waldorf because of the high price point. But yesterday holiday rate of $150.00 appeared reasonable. Outstanding track. Greens and fairways were immaculate. I highly recommend playing this track!

Played this course many times over the years and it has always been in excellent condition would highly recommend to play this course if you get a chance

The course was in great condition this is the 7th time off playing here and it has always been in great course and is one off my favourite courses and if you get the chance when in Orlando you should try an play

This is one of the best courses on Central Florida top-tier greens and fairways, friendly staff love the layout definitely coming back here again and again

Course was in great shape in spite of the lack of rain...no sign of the aeration from a few weeks back....it was a pleasant surprise that the tee boxes were in excellent shape, unlike those of other local courses Ive played recently ...highly recommend! If you can stand the heat, now is the time to take advantage of the reduced rates!

The course was in excellent condition and greens were also very fair and in great shape but putted rather slow.

The Waldorf Astoria was excellent value for money in all areas. From check in to completion of our round, the staff were excellent together with the course, it was a pleasure to play and will definitely return on our next visit.
