Waldorf Astoria Orlando

This as my first time playing here and it won’t be my last. The course was in pristine condition and looked incredible. The staff was extremely hospitable and helpful. The only negative aspect of my experience was there was no range master/course inspector driving around checking in on pace of play etc. There was this group ahead of my group and they took 5 practice swings on each shot and they acted like they were on the PGA tour. And they were terrible golfers. Each of their shots went only 80 yards. And to make it worse they had a kid with them and the kid got out and was playing in the sand traps. I was very aggravated with their pace of play. There needs to be an official from the course assuring pace of play is being followed.

One of the best courses in FL. Great condition and awesome layout, Shot 80. Course plays long from tips couple par 4 holes around the 480 range and 600 yard par 5 holes gotta be hitting no less than 280 290 to play tips. Move up if that's not you

The Waldorf is always in excellent condition. It is a challenging layout with elevated greens and plenty of water. Not all amenities (restaurant/cart service) are open due to Covid, but the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

We all live here in Orlando and for 2 of my guys this was the first time they played . Course Conditions are as follows..... GREENS are very good , but not fast , they are running around a 8 on the Stemp ... Still rolling decent ... FAIRWAYS are perfect , not much roll but the ball sits up nice and may be a little wet in some areas but overall very good ... BUNKERS ... Perfect consistency in almost every bunker ... There is No cart girl running so bring something to drink and stay hydrated, they have water machine at the club house and on hole 9 but it’s very hot right now so I suggest bringing something with you .. We are going to come out again next week and play it again .. In my opinion it’s one of the best layouts and best conditioned courses in Central Florida ... We played the blues and it played very fair ... We will play it again soon

So, as you will see from the other reviews, this could be about the best (or close to it) maintained course you will set foot on and it has some very nice natural views. Green speed was average but true. I think I saw one spot next to a green that had some spotty fungus or something, beyond that, it's darn near perfect. My only negative was the challenge. I didn't find it very challenging at all. Most holes are pretty straight, so if you hit straight, it's pretty simple. They do have bunkers in some strategic places which I did find (first time there, so didn't know the place), but beyond that, it's flat, not a ton of water and not many doglegs. They have a $60 rate right now which I would say is about right. For me, it's not interesting enough for the usual $100+, but the course conditions are well worth that price. So, if you want a perfectly maintained course and a nice low score, this is perfect.

One of the most pristine and well payed out courses in central Florida. Worth every penny.

Ive been if central florida since mid feb. i can tell you im staying in reunion which has 3 private courses. They are considered the best of the best. I would disagree. 195$ a round here and 60-80$ at the waldorf? Its in as good of shape as i ever seen a late spring course in florida.

You will not regret it. Take it from a guy whos played 60-70 rounds spreading out over central florida in the past few months. For 20$ more then falcons fire thats about to be a 3 star course at best or mystic dunes gone to crap, its 20$ more then providence which in its glory is crap course!!! Trust me goooo. Course conditions were amazing! Fairways and greens were the best course layout was fair but very challenging. Staff were all helpful and cordial. Green fees and cart were twice what we normally pay but it was well worth the treat. My wife birthday, she loved it!

Today was the first time playing this course and it was the most beautiful and we'll manicured course I have ever played. Because it was a Monday it was not busy and was by far the most relaxing round of golf I have ever played. We will definitely be back!

We were a party of three and teed of at 8 am. Great weather, friendly staff and range balls to warm up with. New putting green, ready to go. Everything was clean, wiped down and functioning just liked it ever stopped. Tee box green, fairways green and warm receptive greens to put on. They were handing out two for one complimentary rounds of golf good through January 17, 2021. Ready to go back now. Thank You the professionals as t Waldorf Astoria GC.

This course was in beautiful condition. The greens were fast and true. They were receptive to fairway iron shots. The course has a nice Florida wetland vibe and the scenery is very picturesque. While the visual layout is open, this course is deceptively narrow. The Waldorf Astoria Golf Club is a great test of golf. The price was right, a great value for the money.

From the greeting at the bag drop, to exiting the facility, this is a first class venue.

This was a great day, never came across another group on the course so pace of play was awesome. The course itself is just pristine, the tee boxes are so well manicured they are better than some greens I have seen. The course layout makes for a challenging round, water, sand, and elevated greens, pick your poison. The greens are fast and present many challenges, but with 5 sets of tees you can remove a lot of challenge if you choose.

It is sad that do to Covid 19 this fabulous resort was a ghost town and virtually silent, but that also made this one of the best golf deals I ever had.

The staff was great, the course was great, and this is a must play course.

Truly enjoyed the round...beautiful day, nice course conditions. . Summer pricing makes it a great bargain!

The course is immaculate! Not blowing smoke, the cart guys and pro shop personnel were incredible. Greens were smooth and true. It’s Covid time, so all amenity type items are closed. Regardless, they could upgrade the locker room big time. Only trying to help the course!
