+ turnaround

The course conditions have greatly improved over the last several weeks, as it was very poor several months ago. The fairways and the greens are in great shape, just on the shaggy/ slow side. There are a few shabby tee boxes that could really use some work/ grass.

Total let down

Can’t believe they charged $169 bucks to play with the conditions the way they are. Not worth it at all, stay away until conditions improve especially at the price points they are trying to charge.

Undisclosed "Resort Fee"

The course was fine. But my total cost was $87.81, not the reservation confirmation amount of $84.13 with most of the difference being an undisclosed "resort fee". If a course charges a resort fee, it should either be shown as a separate line item, or be added to the "Total Greens Fees". Do better, be honest in your pricing. Also charging 3% for using a credit card is just tacky.

Greens Really Slow

Overall overpriced for the green condition, very very weary slow. Like putting on Velcro.

Fairways and teeing areas are nice.

Wait to play greens are shaggy

Great overall course just ruined by post airrated greens. They were like putting on shag carpet.

It's like showing up for a date meeting in person and you find out the pictures you seen of the person where 10 years ago and 50lbs lighter.

Great Course

Overall, Great!

The Slammer and Squire course is a fantastic layout with unique design features. Unfortunately we were rained out 2-3 holes after we made the turn. Not directly related to the course but I hope to see something done to utilize the facilities that were once the hall of fame areas. Again overall great course!

Will play again

When I first saw the rating of 3.4 I was reluctant to book. I am not sure what is driving that score, but this place was great. Its the best public course I have played in the Flagler/St Johns area. I paid $96 for a before-8 8a tee time; well worth it.

Note: that if you bring a young kid you will need to call ahead and pay a ride-along fee.

Beautiful layout, greens hard as a rock and too bumpy.

This is a beautifully laid out golf course that seems to be a bit neglected for the price paid to play it. Was impossible to hold any green from anywhere beyond 100 yards. The greens were also quite bumpy, so no true roll to the hole. Some tee boxes were very beat up and sandy. For the money this course should be better taken care of or less money charged to play it.

Over sold

This course two days in a row way over sold. There’s no chance to stay warm. Pace of play is awful it’s 20 minutes in between shots. Staff is great though and course is nice.

Great Course

Staff was phenomenal from arrival to check-in to finishing our round. Only two downfalls to the round was a few of the greens were rough to putt on. Partially dead. The other downfall was pace of play. Probably need to spread the tee times out a little more. We had to wait on a group in front of us due to a group in front of them and then the chain reaction continued behind us. Overall I think the course was fun and inviting.
