This is a awesome course
Was hoping for more elavation changes. But overall a great course. Some of the natural areas are a bit high and make tee shots blind. Would play it again
Best course in North Georgia
The course was in great shape even with all the rain North Georgia has been getting this summer. The greens were in great condition and thu it was very wet the fairways were very nice and playable. This course is a must play when in the area. The staff could not have been nicer, from the guy who takes your bag to the women behind the counter this staff is first class.
Brasstown is a wonderful "resort" golf course
Brasstown is a beatiful and wonderfully kept golf course in a great setting. The fairways are in great shape, and the greens were challenging! The variety of holes and the layout of the course makes for a good time and pleasurable outing. Be careful of the blind shots and sometimes "drive ahead" to know how far you want to try to hit the drive and sometimes second shot on the "dog-legs"! And, enjoy!
Great course, well maintained
Loved the course. Beautiful scenery even when you are not playing well.
Great resort course for mid range to low handicappers
Pristine conditions for tees, fairways, and greens. Bunkers average. Wonderful mountain views. Generous landing on most holes. Serious lost ball trouble in front of tee boxes, on numerous holes and thick foliage beside fairways makes this very challenging for high handicappers.
Beautiful and quiet setting
This course is great for all skill levels. Always in great shape and a pleasure to play.
Excellent course!
It was the nicest course I've ever played for $30 (hot deal). Staff was great. Course was in perfect shape. The mountain views just added to the experience.
The course looks great and is fun to play.
It was fun to play. The greens have a good shape and putted great.
A very good course with fine views.
We really enjoyed playing this course. We will play again if in the area. And despite the heavy rain the day before the course played nicely. To be recommended. 04
Beautiful course with class!
This course is a great experience. There is a set of tees for most every golfer. Many large sand traps on every hole. Water and wetlands in play on many holes. Lots of very elevated greens with sweeping fairways. Go up a club or two for those. Nine holes going out then nine coming back in. Hills and change of elevation. Greens are true but were only average speed because of recent aeration. Stunning course with stunning scenery. A five star course.
Great golf course.
Brasstown is an outstanding golf course with a good variety of holes and challenges. The course plays long, but fair.
Must play
This is the best course norh of Atlanta and you should bring your A Game. The greens are large, moderate to fast, and roll true. Stay in the short grass or it could be a long day.
Very nice course
The conditions at the course were very nice. Tee boxes, fairways, sand traps and greens are in very good condition. The staff were very helpful. I enjoyed my round and plan to return. Knowledge of the course would improve my score as some dangers are difficult to foresee. A very enjoyable time.
Cool Time at Brasstown Valley
This is a super golf course ! It was a sunny 55 degree , breeze day, and a lot of cool fun ! Will be back again, like always !
Greens in great shape for this time of the year, Jan. 2013, and they do not cut the grass to close to the ground for the winter season, like "other" courses around here do ! You can get down and under the ball.
This course is in great condition for December
Very nice course. I've played there twice in the last week. Very friendly staff. Course was in excellent condition. Good food in the restaurant if it's open.
Could not have been better...
There was a golf outing of six groups and they were obviously not good golfers and their beer drinking got in the way as they were a very loud group.. they did hold the course up for the whole round, thus a five hour round......
Challenging holes and great service!
Even with dormant Bermuda fairways and rough the course was in excellent shape. The bent grass greens rolled true and carried great speed. Outstanding challenge for all skill levels but at the same time forgiving in places. All in all excellent layout and a great time! Would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes a fun course!
Relax with a challenge
This club has a very relaxed friendly feel so you don't seem to mind the challenging golf course with lots of sand for a mountain course.
Outstanding
Best course I have ever played in over 40 years of golf around the world.
A true 8.5 out of 10.
Of course nothing is perfect. Therefore, 8.5 out of 10 is darn good. The course is always in very good to great condition and the staff is exceptional. The course is very challenging but fair. The scenery and mountain views are a real plus.
