This course was in great shape and not crowded.

The Mountain Views from this course were incrediable. The leaves were about a week from being at their peek color. This is a great course for all levels of golfers. I plan to return next year about this same time. The food cart only came by 2 times while we were on the course, once while we were on hole #3 and again while we were on hole #11 and it was last call at that time. If they are not going to allow personal coolers on the course then it would be nice if they would run the food cart until everyone was off the course. It is a links style course and when you make the turn you are 2-3 miles from the clubhouse with no food, this can make for a long round.

Very nice course w/views

Got a great rate on a very nice mountain course. Very well maintained, friendly staff and only 1 1/2hrs away. Nice scenery on many holes. Looking forward to going back. Different tees provide different challenges. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful mountain setting and scenery yet a relatively level track.

In great condition as always, greens rolling true and the air clean, Brasstown Valley is a joy to play.

a must play in the north GA mtns

This is a beautiful course in a fabulous setting. It's nothing like your typical resort course. It's also relatively flat as it sits in the valley but it's long and difficult. You have a few blind tee shots on the back nine so it helps to play with someone who knows the lay out.
The setting is perfect with lots of water so you have to drive the ball well. Greens are fast and true. Bunkers were perfect. If you like Barnsley Gardens you will like Brasstown valley, but at half the price.

My only criticism was it took 5 hours on a saturday afternoon. Neither of the 2 foursomes in front of me (single) would let me play through. I caught the first group on the second hole and their failure to let me play through caused a backup for everyone else. The marshalls should have handled.
When you have a resort course you attract occasional golfers and the course needs to realize this and direct traffic better.
17 and 18 are hard finsihing holes so be prepared.

Nicest course close to Blue Ridge

This course is a good value at under $50. I paid $30 late morning on a weekday, and the greens were close to perfect. There is nothing about this course to complain about, though the play can get a bit slow if you happen to be behind an outing.

Great open course, superub greens, friendly staff, not crowded

Great location in the mountains with plenty of amenities. The greens were great, due to the summer afternoon rains. The grass was green and regularly mowed. Everything was neat & clean, not crowded and good support from the staff.
