Great course
Great course to play, fairways are in great shape, greens need some attention there are a lot of ball marks to putt over. Very nice and friendly staff.
4 some or less please
It was a rainy day but the course was nice. However on the back 9 I ran into a group of 5 then a group of 6. The 5 let me play through but the 6 did not. Got to the grill at the clubhouse and soon realized that they were all together. Party of 11 should be 4+4+3. Not many players else where but they still had a food cart with reasonable prices.
First time playing, not disappointed
I have been seeing this course and wanted to play for several years and finally got the chance and was not disappointed. The course was in great shape with soft greens(more on that later). The views are spectacular and the setup was just right for my game. The facilities are very nice and the food is great.
The course was challenging , in that you had to control you shots but generally could find any miss hits. The greens were fast but rough due to the lack of others not fixing their approach shots. I loved the course and will play there again.
Fun course
We arrived about 30 mins ahead of the tee time and they greeted us a the bag drop and steered us to the pro shop and helped us get a bite to eat before we teed off. Was not impressed with the range. Far from the 1st tee and about 10 spots to hit from (mats only that day)
Loved the course and in good condition for late summer (greens soft and a little slow)
We will definitely be back.
Beautiful place!!
Beautiful
Course was in perfect shape. Well worth the two hour trip. Will be back.
Absolutely Beautiful
Great experience , course was immaculate , views spectacular.
Beautiful course.
Course was in outstanding condition. Also a great layout. Thanks to golfnow.com for the great deal I got.
Loved it
Great course and the views were amazing. A well maintained course. I will return.
Scenic mountain course
Course in excellent shape. Greens fast and true. Fairways in outstanding shape. Enough water, sand, and rough to catch most errant shots. Tee box placement on holes spread out to be challenging at any length. Plays through a valley with hole elevation changes surrounded by the North Georgia mountains.
Brasstown the beautiful
This course is pure pleasure to play, its is well maintained with beautiful scenery from the valley floor to looking up at Brasstown Bald the highest peak in Georgia. The fairways are in great shape and the greens are like being on carpet. I just returned from two weeks in Florida playing different courses and nothing I played compares with this course. This course is a must play for anyone the different tees offer the ease or difficulty you want in playing this course. Come to the mountains for a great golf experience!
Great course for a Day Trip or. Weekend get away!
Great course in great condition both Fairways and Greens maintain Ed very well , with some nice character. We enjoyed the day!
Very quick round
The course is in excellent condition. Did not have to wait ever. Very friendly staff. Course is a bit longer than others in the area.
Beautiful tract
First time here at Brasstown and was very impressed with the course condition. If you like a true preserve feel to playing with minimal housing, roads etc. then this is your place. We saw lots of wildlife and it was such a pleasure to have tranquility.
Brasstown Blessing
The price on this site was awesome and they honored it with absolutely no red tape. Everyone on the course were friendly and helpful even though they were very busy. Course was beautiful.
Sparkle City Jewell
Been playing the course for 20 years. Amazing! Could play there everyday and never get tired of the layout and challenges.
A gem in the mountains
I'd been wanting to play this course for a while and finally had the chance while passing through Young Harris, GA. Beautiful views, good course conditions and excellent weather made for a great round. Better have your sand game tuned up because what it doesn't have in water hazards, it makes up for in bunkers. I would definitely recommend it and plan on returning to play it again.
killer sand traps
Staff was courteous helpful amassbfriendly. Beverage cart circled a few times throughout play. Course was in great condition especially considering there had been so much rain this spring. Sand traps will eat your shots. We spotted a red fox in the brush too.
Best course in the mountains, great day.
Lovely setting in a valley surrounded by mountains, very well maintained course, friendly staff, and a challenging lay-out. Large greens and soft bunker sand make this a course worth returning too.
Return trip planned
This course is a must play. Greens were perfect although very slow, probably because of all the recent rain. Some minor winter kill in places. Mostly dry, only 3 holes cart path only. Lots of bunkers. Great views. Really good variety of holes that will make you use most, or all clubs in your bag. Pretty wide landing areas off the tee. My 2nd time playing will absolutely be back.
Challenging but rewarding
I tipped the course out and even though I'm a long hitter it gave me a run for my money...especially the par 3's. Course was a bit wet (which didn't help my distance) but it has rained the previous 2 days. Greens were fast but fair (although still had some plugs from aeration). Layout is phenomenal and great for both the advanced and beginning players.
