The price went up and the quality went down. Really bad place

The course is in terrible shape, nothing is being maintained. The greens are unputtable mud and weeds. Save your money!

Tee boxes and fairways are nice.. greens are filled with poa Anna. Virtually unputtable !

This course, driving range, and putting green were awful. There are weeds on every aspect of course. Greens had little weeds on each one which made putting like a pin ball machine. You had to guess the bounce. Fairways, rough, and fringe area were the same. My golf partners paid $80 they said!! We all were very disappointed. At the turn which was after the 10th hole there was a snack place. No real food just snacks???

Unfortunately the tee boxes and greens were in very poor condition. Weather conditions must have been detrimental to the Poa Annua grass. Hopefully they will recover with time.

Drove two hours to play here. Better grass in my backyard and my yard is horrible. $90 and weeds EVERYWHERE. Impossible to red putts longer than 6 ft. Don’t even try to putt on fringe. Just bad. Even the practice green and driving range is infested. 2nd worse course I’ve played in my life. Layout is nice, has potential but the course has been let go. DO NOT PLAY HERE.

We get out to Callaway about once a year, so we are very familiar with these courses. Very disappointed in the overall conditions. The course staff was excellent and knew there were some areas that needed a lot of work. They let us know they are under new ownership and we’re excited to see what’s coming. Looking forward to seeing Callaway return to its glory days!!

It was my first experiance at lake course in galaway garden.

As I heard from friend, its view is real healing.

I refreahed my mind and played golf with comfort condition.

If my friends ask me recommendation of golf course, I will recommend lake view course in galaway garden.

You would think that if the course had been neglected this bad, they would at least come off their price a little bit. Seriously the worst greens I’ve ever saw. They are definitely going to lose some customers.

Even with a hot deal, the price to play on crabgrass filled fairways and dead greens is just not ideal. Every green complex apart from 1 had large dead spots and would cause putts to roll horribly most chances. The lake course was amazing last time I went, but this was a MASSIVE letdown.

For the price to play. The greens were horrible. Patchy with dirt. Not very “green”. Hard as a rock with no consistency. Most tee boxes were in rough shape or needed to be mowed. Fairways were nice though

Course has been invaded by some type grass that makes the greens bumpy. If you kill the invasive grass on all the course the place would be all brown.

We always have a great time playing at Callaways. I do worry that the poa annua is taking over many of the greens. Hope they can be helped as everything else about the course is great!!!!
