Mountain View at Callaway Gardens Resort

Mountain View at Callaway Gardens was a beautiful course with great greens and perfect weather. As a beginner, all those sand bunkers were a little intimidating 😂, but I loved the challenge! It definitely tested my game while still being an enjoyable round. I’d absolutely play here again. 🏌🏾‍♀️⛳️

Mountainview Course in pitiful condition. Temp green on #1 not even cut just a spray painted circle to mark it in the middle of the fairway. A black fungus or something along with patches of dirt on the front side greens. The best part of the round was the chili dog at the turn. By that time I’d accepted the poor conditions and just finished out the round. I have no plans of going back at this point. I’ve wanted to play there for years and had high expectations. I drove approximately 255 miles for this letdown. ☹️

The course is somewhat inconsistent. Not all the fairways are mowed the same as well as the greens. Some greens were quick while others were very slow. I thought on some greens I needed to hit my driver to get the ball rolling.

Did meet a great gentleman who shared our round. His name is Dave and I hope our paths will cross again.

There's courses in the area that is in better shape with better prices

I love the track. It can be challenging. The greens have always been a problem, but they’re trying hard to bring them back. I will pay the mountain course again after giving. Break for several months it is a nice layout. Greens were better than two months ago.

it was improved since the last time we played mountain view but tees not good, fairways good, greens were improving but not great. traps were horrible. The price was good from golf now, weather was a lot less humid than 100 miles south being the reason we played here. 3 hours and 45 minutes to play,

These greens have not been good for at least a year, fairways were not cut down either this time

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. GolfPass deal is a great value. Overall course conditions are improving and should continue to get better as summer growth occurs. Back nine greens are much better than the front side.

The mountain course continues to struggle with their conditioning. The tees and fairways are shaggy, the bunkers are not drug daily and are constant hardpan, and the greens are horrid. Getting a putt to hold a line is next to impossible and if you hole a putt, it's an absolute miracle.

The only thing going for this place is the fact it used to be in the rotation on the PGA tour. The layout is stellar, and the difficulty is next to none. I just wish they could find a greenskeeper that could improve things some.

The course is fair ...a lot of bad patchy spots and greens look diseased and covered in sand ....has been this way a couple years now . Definitely not the course of the pga days . But with the hot deals more then a fair price .

Staff is great in club house ....snack bar is a bit slow and only have 1 cart person for 2 courses lucky if see 1 time in a round .

Absolutely terrible conditions-worst golf course in a 100 miles radius.

Unless you are able to get a golf now tee time for less than 30 bucks-you are wasting your time and money. I keep trying to give Mountain View a chance, but it maintains the esteemed position as the worst golf course in the Columbus, GA area!

So disappointing!
