About Chateau Elan Winery & Resort
Chateau Elan Winery & Resort is a golf resort located in the North Georgia mountains to the northeast of the Atlanta metro area in Braselton. This 3,500-acre estate is home to a nearly 300-room and suite resort (with a collection of villas as well), winery and four golf courses (one of which is accessible to members only). In addition to two 18-hole resort courses, there is a 9-hole executive course. The resort completed a $25 million enhancement project in September, 2020, the first major renovation since the property opened in the 1980s. The lobby was entirely redesigned and there are four new dining concepts. Additional activities at Chateau Elan include an outdoor pool, tennis courts and culinary studio.Facts

Minimal Effect Management
So let me start by saying that I play across the state, also I have played Woodlands before, but today was a rough day for the price. When paying over $100 for a round there are certain levels of service anticipated. Below are two main issues:
1: Give it was a Sat mid day we only saw a cart girl on #4 and on #17. Tough when you do not have a half way house on this course.
2: MAIN ISSUE- on 14 we had two separate groups drive right through us for a mid day scramble tournament. Little to no consideration to golfers on the course.
Just tough to accept for such a prestigious course, for that rate on a Sat morning round!

A day out
The fairways and Teebox were in great condition. The greens have just been punch, so that I understand. The pace of play was horrible. We were a twosome, in front of us with another twosome. We only played 15 holes then we quit. I love the course I love condition, a little help with the pace of play it will be an outstanding place

Excellent short game course
Pros - good challenging short course
Cons - greens where just arreated. But not over sanded so greens where still fast.
No directions nor paths to the next tee. Had to hunt due to hills blocking views.

Fun course
Hillier than expected with tricky greens. Greens were fast and true. Would play again if in the area.
