The Hilton Atlanta/Marietta Hotel & Conference Center is a 198-room and suite property in the Atlanta suburb north of downtown Atlanta. It overlooks the City Club Marietta Golf Club, an 18-hole golf course that dates back to 1915 and plays as long as 5,721 yards. The Hilton has two restaurants, Hamilton's for fine dining and The Pub for casual fare, and also has pool tables and 8 TVs for live sports viewing. Not worth $60 A ROUND
Course pace
The pace of play was extremely slow. The players ahead of me were playing very slowly. The Marshall was never seen patrolling the course, so players played accordingly.
Greens and tee boxes in great shape. Fairways not in good shape.
Overpriced
My initial interaction was with the starter who was a jerk My first time their and he was rude, not once but twice. If you don't like dealing with the public then get another job. Fairways had very little grass & lots of sand. The greens were in great shape though. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
City Club
Played on Saturday. The Greens were in good condition but not cut to allow a decent speed. Driving range was devoid of grass. Pace of play was atrocious, with no ranger to speed up play. ( nearly 5hours for 18 holes) No (zero) cart service .
We apologize for the poor experience on Saturday. We were short of staff and unfortunately did not have a player assistant that day. We look forward to providing you with a better experience on your next visit.
Great Greens, not fair fairways
We used to play here all the time. We're glad to see the greens are in great shape, other than being a little hard. However, the fairways, rough / edge areas, etc. are seriously lacking in grass. The course condition outside the greens really needs to be improved.
Thank you for playing City Club and for the feedback. We have seen colder than normal nighttime temperatures which has restricted the growth of the fairways. The forecast is showing warmer temperatures, so they should fill in fairly quickly. You should see a major difference on your next visit.
Hidden Gem!
Full disclosure - I’m a new golfer but the course was beautiful and really well- maintained. The greens were immaculate. The course is very forgiving but with a lot of complexity owing to the mountainous terrains. Can’t wait to play it again!

Tight layout, very hilly, inadequate signage, confusing at times getting from one hole to next If not familiar with layout. Felt uncomfortable by charity set up at #12 waiting for your arrival to seek donation.
Great course to start off the season with!
We played our first round of the season at City Club and found it hard to find the fairway off the tee for whatever reason. Luckily, the way the course is laid out you can play up the next fairway if need be. The course condition was overall very fair even though we’re still early in the year. The greens were fast with a lot of break and the bunkers were well kept. Friendly staff and clean amenities.
Delayed but a good round
Played a late afternoon tee time. We were delayed by 20 mins and the pace of play was slow. No marshall came by through out the round. The course is challenging and the greens are tricky. Will be going back to play again.
Need to use every club
The layout was great. Had a group that held of the pace of play. Took 5 hours to complete.
