Lake Richard B. Russell at Arrowhead Pointe State Park

Folks, this is an incredible golf course in superb conditions! Staff is amazing. Must play?

The course was in great shape. It is very challenging but in a good way. It was top notch all the way. If people would just replace their divots the course would be beyond belief.

I had no idea just how nice this place is. This course is excellent. I would caution, you need to be able to find fairways here or get ready for a big number and lost balls. High handicappers may not have a great day, but low handicappers are going to love this place...my opinion.

I drove 1.5 hours to play, this is a gem. Layout is fun and beautiful. Have played numerous times and always look forward to returning.

Nice golf course. Driving 1.2 hrs to get there. Nice layout and conditions but you have to accept the park kind of feeling... No starter, no time check, family with 3 carts and kids in the weekend in the morning... For sure 5 hrs round is not something to enjoy.

So a little patience and it will be ok. Thanks

This is my favorite course in the area. The course is always in great shape and it is a challenging but fun layout. The views are great also.

This is a diamond in the rough. Amazing course layout, lots of doglegs that cause you to play strategically or be bold with shot shaping. Lots of scenic holes along the water. Greens were pure! Will gladly play here again.

This is a great place to go play. The staff are pleasant. The course is in great shape. Pace of play was nice. No complaints.

As a former collegiate coach and now about 7 handicap:

Beautiful setting and great architecture

Greens were pretty slow due to recent aeration which diminished the enjoyment. It wasn’t too bad on my day of play, but could see rounds being really slow, as this would be a Stern test for high handicaps.

Nice course. Greens are very hard at the moment. They need watering. Course was packed. Very busy day at the course.

Will NOT recommend this course to my friends 50’s and above for being too much slopes going up and down from fairways back to the cart. My back was hurting after the 16th hole.

I’m a physically active guy and when I’m paired with somebody, I usually take the passenger side, as I always walk the fairways to my ball.

I rated this a 5 star because, IT IS!

Great welcoming a staff and nice clean dinning area. I always repair divots on fairways and greens when I play but not here, there was almost nothing to repair.

This is one silver lining of ‘cart path only’ rule, it keeps the place easier to maintain and fairways look good.

Though I will Definitely Recommend this place to younger folks and teens who won’t mind the challenge of hiking up and down the slopes of cart path only.

Kudos to the supervisors and workers who kept this place immaculate.
