Lake Richard B. Russell at Arrowhead Pointe State Park

Course was in fantastic shape! Greens were healthy and rolled extremely smooth. Bunkers, tee boxes and fairways were in beautiful condition. The views around the lake are gorgeous. High recommend and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful course, challenging yet fair on a rather warm October day. Highly recommend playing when you can...better and less crowded during the week.

We have came here several times and for less than $60 it’s the best course around. Requires a lot of attention and smart decisions. Always clean and the staff is a real plus. Will play it until they run us off.

I have to say I have played this course 3 times and I have to say it’s the best course for the money. It’s always clean and well maintained. Back nine is beautiful on the water. Will be my favorite course from now on.

The course is beautiful, plenty of open fairways, elevation changes and several holes along the lake are picturesque. However, no starter or ranger on the course and one slow group had three groups backed up behind them for twelve holes.

On my way home realized I left a box of tp5 balls in the back of the cart. Called the club house maybe 15 minutes after I left to ask them to get the balls and I'd pick them up next time I played. Magically, they disappeared. Not sure if another golfer took them before the cart personnel could take the cart to clean or if one of said personnel jacked 50$ worth of new balls. Either way it's a bummer.

It’s hard to beat this course. Friendly staff, great views of the lake. Course was in great shape, challenging holes and pace of play was no issue. Highly recommend Arrowhead Pointe

This is a nice course great layout around lake Russellwith no houses on the course. Inside Georgia State Park. The fairways are nice and the tee boxes. Great course layout. My only complaint is the greens both times i played the course they had too much sand on them and grass was like putting on shag carpet. If they get the greens right this will be a fantastic course to play. The greens was my reason for four stars instead of five.

This was my second outing there and it was great. They did aerate the greens recently so the greens were a bit rougher than last time. The rest of course was as beautiful as the last time. Tricky but fair course. If you are driving the ball good you will have a great game. I will definitely go back and think for the money it’s tough to beat.

Bang for the buck right here. Very well maintained, clean and fun. Only gripe would be carts shut off too much. They have them set up to shut off in restricted areas but you cant take them to car to pick up clubs.

It would be difficult to find a better public golf experience in GA

This is a great course with friendly people running it however, the pace of play is getting terrible with groups not allowing faster players through but that seems to becoming the norm at all courses nowadays.

I would not have known of this clubs existence without Golfnow. I can now say Arrowhead is one of my favorites! The greens are amazing and the fairways are what fairways should be, well manicured and maintained. We always had a good lie, when we hit the fairway that is. Bunker sand is soft white sand like you find at the beach.

The ladies in the clubhouse are awesome, the only minor complaint is two biscuits and tea was nearly 20 bucks. I guess they know there's no mcd's close by.

I only wish I lived closer, but at 1 hour and a half away, I will go back several times each season. What better way to spend 8 hours?

I enjoyed awesome Golf course with my wife for the 1st time play there. Tee box, fairway, banker and everything was well maintained conditions as well as speedy green rolling even under the Hot temp weather. Specially, more beautiful scenery at back 9 holes with lake and I definitely said that this course was one of best in Georgia golf course. I will come back to play here again.

Perhaps the best combination of price and quality I’ve seen. Very nice design, great lake views on several holes, terrific condition of both fairways and greens. Golf carts were very new. I prefer greens a little quicker, but for a public course they were fine. Staff in the pro shop was competent and very friendly. For $45 (and at times less), I don’t know where you would find a better deal.

loved the course and the views. fun. pretty. tough. tricky. had a great time. shot 85. was a good day.
