About Little Ocmulgee State Park
Little Ocmulgee State Park is located in south Georgia to the west of Savannah. It has some of the most comprehensive lodging facilities of all the Georgia State Parks with golf courses. The main lodge has 60 guest rooms, while there are also 10 2-bedroom cabins as well as RV sites and campgrounds. Little Ocmulgee State Park has a 265-acre lake and sandy beach area. There is also a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and miniature golf. Wallace Adams Golf Course is located within the state park and features a 6,500-yard walkable layout and full driving range, pro shop, chipping and putting green.Facts

Very unusual course conditions
Normally this course is in excellent condition.
For some reason the fairways have been severely neglected. The grass hasn’t been fertilized or watered, thus no grass. This is even the case around the greens. You can’t play the ball down at all.
I’m not sure what is going on but this is out of character for this course. Hopefully this will be corrected.
Extremely disappointed

The only way to make this course better is for it to be ten minutes away.
Excellent condition
This and other GA State Park courses have small staffs and reasonable prices, yet the condition of turf is always excellent. This is most evident in their almost always receptive yet fast and true-rolling greens.
Phenomenal Value
Played last Friday and could not believe how well conditioned a course could be that costs $30 to play. Great compliments to the staff.
True Test
First time playing this course. Pin location on 1st hole was unplayable. Back left on severe slope; otherwise the placements were fair. Could distinguish more between tees. Gold - 6100+, White - 6300+, and Blue - 6500+. Greens rolled well and true. I had the first morning tee time. Staff didn’t arrive to open pro shop 15 minutes before my tee time and then a course employee jumped ahead of me at first tee delaying my tee off. Not the biggest issue but the course employee could have tee off well ahead of me to avoid the delay. Overall great vale and a true test.
Conditions
Course is over maintained, rough is cut so often that ball settles to dirt making bad lie guaranteed.
Great course
This course is always in great shape. The layout is fun yet challenging. Pace can get a little slow with groups that won’t let you play though but that’s an occasional occurance.
Awesome course
I enjoyed my time at this course. The fairways/greens were well maintained. The pace of play was great early in the morning. In the afternoon it can get busy, but it should be expected for a exceptional course like this.

If you are retired and on a budget the best way to go is GN to save money on hot deals.
One of the best courses in South Ga!
Played this course many times in the past! It’s always in great shape! If your in the area don’t miss the chance to play it.

None no better in this area
There is no complaints on any part of this facility. Course is the best i've seen in the 4 years i've been playing.
You just gotta go
I am fortunate enough to have played may, many rounds of golf throughout the SE as well as several rounds in other parts of the country. I can honestly say i think this is one of the best anywhere. The layout is great and the course conditions are the same every single time, year after year. It is great.
If this course was located close to a large city it would easily be a hundred bucks or more. Love it.
