About Sapelo Hammock Golf Club

Sapelo Hammock Golf Club is a semi-private golf club on the Georgia coast, about an hour's drive south of Savannah. The golf club and community has a small amount of guest accommodations onsite, highlighted by The Eagle's Nest, a two-bedroom unit located above the clubhouse and overlooks the Georgia marsh. There are additional two and three-bedroom units overlooking the 4th fairway.

One of the Best places to play!!

It’s tucked away, but well worth time to find it, a bit challenging but fairways are in great shape and open and fair, it has beautiful views as a bonus with large oaks and marsh views. Greens are in immaculate condition. It’s a must play course to me!

Excellent!

This course has quickly become a favorite. I usually play regularly on SSI but SH has proven to be worth the drive. Challenging, fun layout. Beautiful views and great staff. Lots of fun if you can play a decent draw.

Worth the trip

Was staying on St. Simons and we were meeting friends from Savannah. This course was about half way. So glad we chose this one. Staff was great and the golf course was in very good condition. Will definitely play again when in the area.

Fantastic course and greens!

Loved the course layout. It was beautiful and well maintained. Fast greens in great condition as well the best I've played yet. Cart path was a bit off but nothing of real concern especially with nice smooth taken care of carts. Definitely want to return and definitely recommend.
