About Sapelo Hammock Golf Club
Sapelo Hammock Golf Club is a semi-private golf club on the Georgia coast, about an hour's drive south of Savannah. The golf club and community has a small amount of guest accommodations onsite, highlighted by The Eagle's Nest, a two-bedroom unit located above the clubhouse and overlooks the Georgia marsh. There are additional two and three-bedroom units overlooking the 4th fairway.Facts

Very picturesque
Everything was great except there were only two ball washers on the whole course… both placed too high for the average height male… way too high for ladies
Would be nice to have them on at least every second hole. Nicer if they put them on each golf cart … another extra $100 per cart.

First time playing here and really enjoyed course. This course has a lot of character. Not a perfectly maintained course like on Hilton Head, but I think it was worth the 90 mile each way drive from the Island. It is a good layout with friendly people working there. I also met and played with two great guys. I highly recommend this course.
Great course
We are here on holiday from England and staying in the area for a few days before going on to Hilton Head. Course was a delight - some testing holes, water, dog legs and tricky greens. All in all a great round on a very enjoyable course.

Great Layout and Views
I look forward to playing this course every Winter when I'm visiting Hilton Head. It's a 90 min drive South but worth it. EVERYONE is friendly and welcoming, even to women! This even applies to the other golfers on the course. So friendly!! The course conditions were somewhat rough (tee boxes and greens) BUT it's Winter conditions. You expect that when the grass goes dormant. I love the views, I love the tract and I love the staff. Always a fun day at Sapelo Hammock.
Always fun on this wild-romantic course
Even the drive is long we always enjoy playing here. The course is in good shape, many trees. Good facilities on the course. Will come back for sure.
Great Course
Beautiful course and quiet atmosphere. Bring your bug spray, driving range was covered in biting gnats, made warm up practically impossible but the practice facility is nice.

Awesome course.
I found the course on google. It was awesome. Staff was super friendly. The greens were great. The whole course was. As good if not better than most of courses in Hilton Head or Savannah I’ve played. It’s 30 min south of Savannah. I plan on playing there more than once next trip. A member gave us directions to a cool seafood place run by a guy named Capt. Phillips. Prob best experience I had on a trip last week that included there and Florida.
