Nice cours
Enjoyed the round. Had some interesting holes, but was most impressed with the greens. Hope I get the chance to play it again sometime.
Great course!
Immaculate course, got around in 4 hours. Get the range back up and running and this place is easily one of the best in the region. Worth the drive up from Jax!
On our way home from Hilton head
Just a fabulous golf course in the golden isles….the only hitch was when we got there for an 8 AM teatime they told us it was 940. I don’t know how or why but my reservation was at 8 AM and after a little bit of discussion with Michael, “the coot. “ They got us out played in 3 1/2 hours fabulous morning….. thanks again MICHAEL and the rest of the staff
Great course
Really enjoyed my first round at Sea Palms! Excellent condition and friendly staff. Would definitely play there again.
Great course
Yes play this course staff friendly. Course is in great shape.
Awesome
Played here many times definitely has improved over time
Overall good course to play
It was a nice relaxing round, the course was in good shape and the staff was very friendly. The only negative was no driving range but I wouldn’t let that stop me from playing there again.
Great Course
Greens were excellent! Some holes were soggy due to recent rains. Great course, but I wish they had a driving range.
Fun Time
Given the amount of rain the course took on before hand, the course was in reasonably good shape. It was cart path only, which the starter failed to mention. Greens were good, traps had little sand in them. Got a "hot deal" through Golf Now which made the price acceptable. The halfway house was closed, but luckily we found a extremely nice cart girl for some drinks and snacks. Overall enjoyed the windy day. Would play there again.
Great shape
Course is in great shape. No complaints. Some tight doglegs and overhanging trees but still pretty generous off the tee. I’m not sure it is worth the full rack rate, especially given there is no warm up area. But it’s a deal if you get a good rate through Golfnow.
Great value
Enjoyed course for 1st time since working there 50 yrs ago. Layout of back 9 a bit different now, but remembering course and getting to play again was great. Value on GolfNow was perfect. Will be taking friends again in Spring when price comes back down again.
Slow play and no etiquette
I was looking forward to playing Sea palms because i've seen good reviews. I booked a tee time just for myself expecting to maybe join up with a group or just play alone. At first I was behind a very slow foursome on every shot for three holes until they finally let me play through. Then a hole later i rode up to a stiff twosome that didnt even offer to join them or let me play through. It took me 2 1/2 hours to play 9 holes. I'm a single digit Hdcp. player that actually knows etiquette but i could not enjoy it. So I packed up after 9. There needs to be a course ranger driving around warning these entitled golfers of their annoying slow play. Needless to say on that note, i will not be returning back.
Donkey
Overall the course was in good condition, the sand traps could use more sand in them. They had an inch of sand then hard dirt!
