Nice course, great value
Haven’t played here in the last few months but the course is in very good shape. Greens very good, fairway very good, bunkers fair, great views over marsh.
Played a hot deals round... great value. Nice breeze helped midday afternoon summer temp.
Enjoyed playing there, will be back.
Osprey Cove
Great course from tee to green. One of my favorites.
A golf now great
An absolutely beautiful core, excellently maintained on which it is possible to shoot a low score. Always a pleasure
Great course
The course was in great shape. I got our on a hot deal for a great price in the afternoon and played 18 holes in under 2 1/2 hours . The staff was very nice and engaging and I had the course to myself. The greens were just a shade too long but overall it was a great experience, will be back.
Great South Georgia Golf
Excellent experience today! Beautiful course in excellent condition. I highly recommend this course if your in the Saint Mary’s/Kingsland, Ga area.
Great Outing
My group and I had another wonderful outing at Osprey, the course is in great shape although there’s a few bare spots on some greens on the back nine. The normal S. GA thunderstorms rolled through and dumped about two inches of rain in 30 minutes, but the course sucked the water up and didn’t interfere with our game.
Excellent as always
Course is in outstanding shape. The staff is courteous and friendly. If all of the bunkers were the same consistancy the course would be perfect
Beautiful Course
Definitely will play this one again. Spectacular layout and conditions. Good scoring course, depending upon the tees you select. Everything perfect!
Great value
I booked with a hot deal on Golf Now so you can’t beat it for the price. The greens are patchy and some of the tee boxes are iffy. That being said, with golf now it’s a pretty good value for what you get. Free range balls are always a plus and the clubhouse/bar is beautiful. Layout of the course is nice as well. If the course conditions improved a little more it would be one of the best courses in the South Georgia/North Florida area. As it stands, it’s a great value if you book at the right price.
Friendly Outing
First time playing Osprey this year, got rained out a couple of weeks ago. The course is in excellent shape, although we were only able to get nine holes in before the normal SGA thunderstorm ended our day. Looking forward to playing again and using our rain check.
Challenging
Wide fairways. Shot makers course. Great Condition
South east Ga. North east Fl. Must play
Was able to get 18 in less than for hours. No complaints only Praise for Hidden Gem. I highly recommend the Osprey
High to low HC give it a try.
LOVELY
This course is ABSOLUTELY one of the best. The course is in very good condition, with a few WEED spots. The only issue I had this day was the foursome ahead of me. They were playing as if they were the only ones on the course. I had waits of 10 minutes or more, NO ETIQUETTE AT ALL, what a SHAME. If you are in SE GA, and looking for a beautiful golf course to play a round of golf, OSPREY is a true delight. Keep up the AWESOME work.
good day in georgia
1st time visiting osprey cove and it didn't, disappoint.
yes, it was hot but the shape of the course made up
for it. in great shape and i played in 2:50. but i did play
by myself.
would definitely go back a play this course
Best Course in Southeast Georgia
John King and the staff at Osprey are outstanding. Very professional and courteous. I’m never disappointed when I play Osprey.
Course Conditions
When we arrived, it was over 90 degrees and sunny and we were informed it would be cart path only because the course was wet. We found only one hole that was even soft and no standing water anywhere. Our round took two hours longer than. Nor.al and we were physically exhausted from essentially having to walk the course for no reason. If they had told us before we drove 40 miles to get there, we would not have played. It was not fun.
Where’s the Marshall?
This course is my favorite one to play, but there’s no control over the tee times and homeowners just jumping on the course at will. It appears that homeowners or regulars here can just hop in a cart or grab their push cart and jump on the course. We met up with the staff before to identify the players before and after our start time, yet somehow a twosome snuck between and then when the foursome in front of us wasn’t playing as fast as the twosome desired, they just pushed ahead and teed off. I also played earlier in the week and was told there were no other times behind us for a bit, but again a group of six (which shouldn’t be allowed either) was hitting into us... obviously didn’t pay, or check in. So... where’s the Marshall??
