About The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort

The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort is located on Georgia's Saint Simons Island. The main resort complex is 12 miles from the 18-hole golf course, which is located on the quiet north end of the island. King & Prince Beach & Golf Resort has 195 units of accommodation consisting of rooms, suites, villas and home rentals. The resort features oceanfront, outdoor dining, as well as a wide variety of outdoor activities from tennis to yoga, pilates, hike and bike trails. Excursions can also be arranged throughout St. Simons Island for boating, fishing and beachfront horseback riding. The golf course has been a past recipient of the Golfers' Choice US Top 50 on Golf Advisor.

Course condition excellent

We received a friendly greeting when arriving and loading our bags on the cart. However, other than checking in at the Pro Shop, no other staff was seen. There was no starter. Also thought water holes 12-15 appeared out of sync with the rest of the course design. Would expect GPS in carts for the price of play. All in all, the course was in great shape.

Played in windy conditions after 3 days of storms and somehow the greens rolled smooth, never a bounce….all of them. Awesome day!

King & Prince Course a Great Option for Public Play

The King and Prince Course has an interesting layout in a housing development, and also has four (4) unique holes that are essentially surrounded by Marsh/ wetlands.

The greens and fairways were in great shape, and the practice/ warm-up facility is good.

I plan to return to this course.

It is winter after all….

Bermuda grass fairways are thin but firm. Greens are fast. Layout is interesting, especially 4 holes out in the marshes. You won’t be bored for sure.
