The pace of play was incredibly slow. 4 groups on each hole.
Can’t wait
Can’t wait for the course to green up. Greens rolled true. Saw a few deer and a couple of gators. Beautiful day
Beautiful and challenging
Beautiful course, very firendly staff, interesting and challenging layout, green in great condition, and well maintained traps (I was in several). The only reason I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars was the fairways were a bit thin, but that is probably due to using a seasonal grass this time of year.
Fun course to play when in St Simons
First time visiting the area and my wife and played at King and Prince because it was away from the busier areas. Course was fun and layout was great! The staff friendliness was top notch!
It was a pretty chilly day but the course was in great shape.
Will definitely play here again!
Course in great shape.
Everything was good, due to some back issues I haven't played much golf but will be playing more if my back holds out.
Nice resort track
The course is a little overpriced, but it is a "resort"! Pace of play was slightly slow. The fairways were fluffy. The greens were true! Overall I would recommend playing here at least once.
Like Family!
I have met the nicest people playing this course. We had a great time!
Great Track
I've played this course 4 times over the past 12 months and I always enjoy it! Every hole is memorable, and the layout is very challenging. I especially love the 4 holes on the marsh and the firm/fast greens. Lots of no-see-'ems so bring bug spray, but everyone is real friendly and the turkey club is phenomenal!!
King & Prince is Always Great
The course is beautiful. The weather is beautiful. St. Simons is beautiful. The staff is friendly. The kitchen/bar closes down at 3 PM on Sunday, which I don't understand. That will impact you if you have a 1:30 PM or later tee time. You may not get much for food/drinks at the turn. If someone is there, however, they will try to get you something if they can. Again, the staff is great. The pace of play is generally fine, but it can log-jam every now and again. Overall, this is currently my favorite course to play in the area.
Really enjoyed my round!
I’m just passing through the area and am really happy I decided to play this course. After having played several courses recently that were in very poor condition it was a very pleasant surprise to play a course that was in outstanding condition!
The layout was a very nice mix of tree lined fairways to marshland to water holes, as well as a good mix of hole shapes and distances that made me really focus on my line. I also like that it required me to use every club in my bag, sans 3-wood, which for me is always a metric on how good a course is. The greens were firm and rolled well, today they weren’t super speedy but fast enough where you definitely had to pay attention.
I would definitely play again when in the area!
