Beautiful setting
Great course. Beautiful setting along marshes on St Simon Island.
Lovely Course
We were a twosome behind 2 walking foursomes, so things really bogged down when there were long distances through the neighborhoods between holes. Didn't mind waiting, but maybe carts should be required. Only other problem was the gnat swarms on several holes - very annoying. The holes out over the marshes were scenic.
Wet but Fun
Have had a good bit of rain recently and several holes were soggy, but overall course was in good condition and enjoyable to play. Back nine more interesting than front with several holes on the marsh and water. Would definitely recommend when on the island, especially if you can get a hot deal.
RI GOLFER
ALWAYS A CLASSIC ROUND. CHILLY TO START THEN SUPER AFTER 5TH HOLE
This is the semi-private course to play on St Simons Island
The course is a wonderful golfing experience! Challenging for all levels of golfers that is always in pristine condition. Nestled along the tidal marshes with 4 holes on the back 9 located on an island in the center of the marsh with scenic views to die for! The staff is very friendly, great food at the restaurant over looking the 9th hole lake, & the practice facility has a nice driving range, chipping, & putting greens. You will not be disappointed with this course!!!
Course knowledge is essential!
First time there I paired myself with a twosome one of which was a member. Without his course knowledge this round would have been “more” disastrous. This course is a scenic treasure worth the price. Only two courses avail public play on St. Simon’s Isle, King & Prince and Sea Palms. I went with higher priced spread & was pleased. Don’t be such a cheapskate - play K&P.
Always A classic
With Afib I like their liberal computer cart restrictions. Some courses are most challenging. The holesc22 to 15 are classics and worth the round by themselves.
Love this course hated that we ran into girls practicing
We had a 320 tee time , and were having a great time, until we ran into 4 girls and maybe a parent on a practice round. Didn’t finish cause of the girl and the practice. 9 and beyond had these girls on them. Wish the course had warned us, I would’ve picked another day.
Always good
Got the 7:50am tee time in a Thursday morning. Course was in great condition for it being winter. Greens rolling pure. Fairways had some wet spots and some areas under repair but those were easily avoided since I can't find a fairway to save my life. Best course available on Golfnow in the area.
