The service is outstanding, the golf course is set up like a tour venue. The fairways are cut somewhat narrow that brings the rough into play, which is thick. The greens are fast. But overall a great golf course and great experience.

The pace of play is listed as 4hrs. The thick rough makes that almost impossible because you have to spend sometime searching for your ball in the rough. The starter does explain you need to keep your eye on your ball because of this rough.

Course was in great shape. Fairways great, rough great, greens great. Really nice practice range as well. Staff was very friendly.

Misquotes are INSANE. They are like flying buzzards ripping at your flesh. Bring OFF, you will need it.

Several of the holes you can grip it and rip it, with room to miss a little, but then if you miss too much, you will find trouble. Lots of strategically placed bunkers, with sand of varying quality, and other assorted hazards, like water, marsh, and trees. Several narrow holes which required well placed tee shots, and some greens needed very precise shot making. Greens where good, speed was a bit quick, grass fair, roll was true. Very attractive layout across the river from downtown Savannah. A short water taxi ride to the bars on River Street. Bring your bug repellent.

Very challenging Champions Tour Course with outstanding facilities and friendly staff. Excellent experience all around and reasonable green fees.

To be fair we played the day after a deluge and at the end of one of the wettest summers on record. It was soft but not flooded. The greens were good and the fairways lush. Can't do much about the mosquitoes.

Course was in excellent shape even though it had poured rain the night before.

Nice layout across from historic river street in savannah. Good mix of interior and marshland views. Playing from the white tees is too short for experienced golfers. This is the course than hosts the legends of golf tournament in the spring so it is a great value. Greens are excellent with nice consistent fairways. GPS in cart is great and free range time add to the overall value at this course.

Highly recommend this course but bring your bug spray and umbrella - you generally need both!

Very hot day for golf but the course played very challenging but fair.The staff was very professional including the cart girl,she came around 4 different times during the round which was great,offered us a cold towel which was awesome and played with some people that had played the course before.Over all experience was TERRIFIC!!!!!!! A MUST PLAY!!!!!!

A great course that will force you to make tough choices at times. Course was in great shape. If you play in the Summer months, bring lots of bug spray as the 13th and 15th were a haven for mosquitos. Also, be mindful of the wind and some longer holes. Had a great time and the staff was really fantastic. Would play again when I am in Savannah.

As it is always, this course was in excellent shape. While the greens had recently undergone aerification, the course didn't suffer. The place was immaculate from fairways to roughs and everything in between. Pace of play was just 4 hours, but probably because it was a rainy and overcast day, so much the better for us. I'd go back here anytime, great value for the money and great conditioning.

Great course, fairways are in great shape, greens are recovering well from June aeration. Watch out for a gator or two on the back nine.

Under "course condition", there are only 3 options. I chose "maintained" only because I have played the course when it was in a more prestine condition. Not that it was bad by any means, however, I've seen it better.

Nice pro shop and on course staff. The restaurant staff was disorganized and I finally had to go to the bar and ask to pay my bill. It is a pretty course and would play again when back in the area

I attended the Legends tournament this spring and decided I needed to play this course one day. What a great experience to take some of the same shots that I watched the pros hit. Very fast greens, but true. Really enjoyed the round. Great value too!

This course usually is too far above my paying abilities to play, however they have recently aerated the greens so they had a very reasonable price on golfnow. Even though the greens were still recovering they rolled excellently and were very receptive to approach shots. The fairways were in excellent condition and the rough was very difficult.
The staff was very friendly and professional and it made for a truly memorable golfing experience. The course is located in a beautiful spot and provides plenty of scenery as well as a tough challenge for golfers of all abilities. I will just have to be on the lookout again for a great deal like I found this past week in order to play there again.

Best course i've every played period. Greens are incredible fairways have multiple cuts all in perfect condition. golf carts have gps and tell you how far you are from other people and the hole. Everything about this course is nice.

This course is fantastic. They have a variety of tees and it can play reasonable length to killer long. The conditions are excellent, both fairways and greens. The green contours are really fun and challenging; it is clear why the senior tour plays here. It is a nice course for an amateur but it can be set up to be challenging for a pro. The staff is friendly. It is right across the river from historic downtown and the views from a few holes are beautiful. This is well worth the fee.

I loved this course, challenging but fair. I could play it a hundred times and try different things, short & long holes for every par that make it interesting and memorable, not boring. It's a must play!

The crew was friendly and very helpful. the course was manicured to a high degree. the tips are not for the faint of heart. 7300 yds. Great deal from GOLF NOW. would definitely play again, loved seeing the gators.
