The Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa is located on the island's south shore and adjacent to Poipu Bay Golf Course. This beachfront resort on 50 acres features 604 guest rooms with upscale amenities including private lanais. There are 10 dining & bar concepts ranging from Italian to a breakfast buffet and contemporary Hawaiian fare. There are several swimming holes including a half-acre saltwater swimming lagoon with kayak and floatation rentals. Guests can also access two tennis courts and 45,000-square-foot spa and fitness center. The golf course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., is an 18-hole championship layout that is a former host of the PGA Grand Slam of Golf from 1994-2006 and whose notable moments feature seven Tiger Woods victories and 59 by Phil Mickelson.Facts

So nice playing again tomorrow.
Great staff and beautiful course
Great course, great staff and a wonderful round of golf with two great guys from Minnesota. The only small complaint was the play of the group in front of us. We went around in 4 hours and 10 minutes. Easily could have been closer to 3’ 45”. But, I’d rake the same round again anytime, except my score. Ha!
Great day
What a treat to play this course. Ideal weather and breath-taking views. Course in excellent condition. Starter was very helpful to get us out early and pair up reservations to level out play.
Layout is nice and course is in good condition (although greens where very slow).
They have no off course amenities. Just a drink cart. For the price, it should be fuller service.
Rentals were new or in great condition.
Golf in Paradise
Although I was supposed to be paired with two other golfers, the starter gave me the option to go alone. This made the round even that much more enjoyable as I was able to soak in the breathtaking scenery. The course played about average and the fairways were somewhat generous. I used rental clubs and was very surprised at how well I adapted to them. Most holes are straightforward with several testing your skills. I managed to shoot an 82 and will forever have fond memories of Poipu Bay.
Good golf with tough weather
Teh islands were hit with extreme weather and we got some of it while playing, but not too bad. Course was in great shape and we had fun.

I’ve been coming to Kawai for seven years I’ve played the course about 10 times it’s absolutely amazing!!

Poipu Bay GC is a wonderful experience! Beautiful views of the coastline. Course conditions were beyond perfect. Greens were running perfect too. Staff were very polite and funny. Cart guys were super! Great visiting with about the island. People who love golf should make it a bucket list destination. Great job Poipu Bay GC!!! Sincerely, Ken Nivens
great lay out, beautiful views
Course was in great shape, fun to play a little windy when we played but that's what you get right on the water. The main drawback is there is no snack bar/restaurant on the premises so bring your own goodies
