Nice Lies

Staff was very friendly. Lunch was great. The range had a chipping green and bunker. Balls were included. Cart ice chests had bottled water. I wouldn't have minded seeing a refreshment cart driving around, though.

There was hardly anyone on the course (maybe because it was Monday). It wasn't plush, but it was in very good shape. The sand could have been deeper, though. I didn't have a bad lie all day. I didn't see any ground under repair. The course seemed a little short from the whites. Water comes into play on quite a few holes.

I enjoyed the experience. For $105, I would play there again.

This course is almost great.

But I want to limit three or four plays of the beginner who does not
Know the etiquette of golf.
For example, I think that the golf course should make the handicap standard of three or four group.

Good course for the money, we purchased a hot deal from Golfnow.

We played the B and C nines. Well groomed course with consistent putting greens. The only negative was the multiple slow playing groups in front that did not consider allowing a faster group to play through. No marshall on the course.

The course is wide open with 27 holes but could be challenging due to strong wind.

I like this course because of its proximity to my house. The course condition has improved over the last 2 years. Some holes are very long due to the head wind. There is heavy air traffic above the course, which could disturb one's concentration as the noise sometimes is very loud.

First time golfing this course and it was definitely one that I will remember for the great experience that we had.

The whole process was flawless, speed of course was terrific and the staff made the day by being friendly professionals. Class act golf course that we will definitely return to play at.

Target Golf

Unless you are a straight hitter, I would not recommend playing this course. Course has significant elevation changes with many blind shots. If you spray the ball you are in for a rough day and the loss of many golf balls. Thr Makai Course next door is in better condition and easier to play. In addition, the scenery is better..

Good course

The course is well maintained with a variety of challenges, distances and well-placed hazards to make it fun. Sometimes gets some strong winds, which make par difficult to score. Definitely recommended.

Pretty resort course

First of all, I only spoke with three staff, clubhouse guy, and 2 cart guys, and all three were very friendly and helpful. Carts are average; no gps, or beverage coolers, and there was no beverage cart. Restaurant was to be closed in two hours from my tee time, and I made it in from the front 9 in time to grab a beverage and a snack.
Conditions were very good. Fairways were well defined, and rough was well maintained. Greens were in good shape and putts rolled true. Bunkers were fluffy, and embedded balls were easily excavated.
Design is pretty simple, nothing too inventive, but very pretty setting yielded a pleasant experience. Pace of play was very good, and I finished in only 3 1/2 hours including time in the restaurant. I'll be back.

Didn't meet expectations!

Nice course. It's Hawaii, so golfing in Hawaii is awesome in itself. However the pictures on the website really lured me in, and the course didn't do those pictures justice!

Taste of Hawaii

The Hawaiian Prince Golf course provides a golfer opportunity to experience golf in Hawaii (eg. Style, type of grass, vegetation, scenic beauty, etc.) without having to pay Resort prices. Definitely better than a Municipal course. The Staff were friendly, the course was well maintained, hazards presented challenges, pace of play was great, yet, the signs are evident that the best days of the course are past. Probably signs of economic challenges of recent years. Would I play it again? Most definitely.

Well maintanined

The course is well maintained, even the rough is not bad to hit out of. It would be a very hot course to play if there were no trade winds, but fortunately there usually is.
It says it has a lot of water but it very rarely came into play.

Decent Course, great for a moderate golfer

Course was in decent condition, some brown spots around the fairways, but the Greens were in very good condition. Not an overally hard layout, lots of places to miss, not a whole lot of places to get in trouble other then water & bunkers. Their rack rate pricing seems a little steep to me based on the layout and that it really isnt anything too overally special considering where it is. But if you can pick it up at a good rate, it is a good course and if you play half-decent it can be a feel good round of golf.
