JUST GO PLAY THERE!
Always enjoy playing this tract. Greens are great but stay short for an uphill putt. Tees, fairways, and traps are really good. Dave Fazio, the Director of Golf, has done a great job keeping this historic course in super shape and always lots of fun to play. Get a good deal from Golf Now and enjoy course.

The course was in great condition but it’s not highly challenging. Staff was very friendly and marshal kept the pace of play reasonable. Great value and I would love to play here again if I’m visiting Chicagoland in the future
Stop putting so much sand on the greens
Makes putting pretty much not a equal part of the round
Biting Black Flies
I’ve verified this with other golfers that day and after. The course has an issue with black biting flies. Not sure of the source, but we were chased around the course the entire round. You may have six or 7 flies landing and biting while you’re trying to putt or just hit a shot. There must be some way to spray the course to expel these pests. It will nearly drive you crazy. After 9 holes we all headed to the car looking for repellent of any kind. It worked for a while but the flies were still biting, recommend showing up with pants and covered ankles. They will bite your elbows, so long sleeves might be needed. With Medina next door and the upcoming PGA event, I can’t imagine they are dealing with a similar issue. It’s a mystery!!!

Friendly staff, nice course, might be good if they sell bug repellent…. Way too much mosquitos

The course should have been cart path only. Rain from the night before made the course bad. Lot's of water and way to wet to play on. It rained even more while we golfed and got worse. Left after the 14th hole because of the slow pace.
Doral eaglewood is a fun course
Every once in a while I see a hot deal and today was one of them. The course wasn't crowded and I could have played alone but instead the starter paired me up with Alex another Chicago golf enthusiast. We played behind a twosome who was behind a foursome. Pace of play felt slow but we finished at the 4 hour mark. The course was in good shape except for 1 green but it looked like man made tracks nothing that the course could prevent. I've played here many times and you need to know how to play the front nine since several holes are reachable par 4s that I advise you should lay up on.
A Golf Gem
Eagle Wood a very nice course to play. From easy parking and cart to use to get to and from your car to a mid challenging layout. You will find good conditions - some areas under repair but the rest is well taken care of. Worth the price and recommended.
Terrible
Ranger was all over us the entire round. Guy wouldn’t leave us alone. People behind us playing very fast, ranger telling us to hurry on every hole. Terrible conditioned greens. Would not recommend playing here!
