About
Located just northwest of Chicago, the Eaglewood Resort & Spa opened for play in 1932. It is a classic championship golf course, built during a time when the long drive was unheard of. The 6,017-yard layout seems short by today's standards, but the course still offers a formidable challenge. It features rolling fairways lined with century-old oak trees and wildly undulating, difficult-to-read greens with varying speeds that fluctuate depending on the weather, season, and even time of day. There are generous landing areas but they are bordered by deep, strategically placed bunkers that are just waiting to swallow even slightly errant shots. The carefully sculpted and plentiful bunkers are a prominent feature of the layout. Eaglewood's scenic landscape also has three lakes that come into play on eight holes.

A Golf Gem
Eagle Wood a very nice course to play. From easy parking and cart to use to get to and from your car to a mid challenging layout. You will find good conditions - some areas under repair but the rest is well taken care of. Worth the price and recommended.
Terrible
Ranger was all over us the entire round. Guy wouldn’t leave us alone. People behind us playing very fast, ranger telling us to hurry on every hole. Terrible conditioned greens. Would not recommend playing here!
Classic Resort Style
Very short course from the tips, just over 6,000 yards. Course was in great shape outside of the greens. Nobody seemed to fix their divots, outside of that the course was very well maintained. Friendly staff, great carts, and a par three challenge. Would recommend for a fun round, but not a challenging round.
Waste of time and money.
6:40am tee time and we were backed up on the tee box by the third hole. Course is short, but no excuse for a full 4 hour 30 minute round for a 6:40am tee time when the tips are 5900yds. Greens are like putting on carpet. I wouldn’t pay $50 for this course and it was $90 for a Saturday tee time.
Great for mid handicap players
This course has a tight layout, but if you stay focused and hit it straight, you’ll have fun. It’s challenging but not too difficult by any means. They do a great job of making the course look nice and the staff are really friendly. The pace of play was excellent and the carts are in good condition. You won’t be disappointed.
Great Course!
I had a wonderful experience at Eaglewood Golf Course! The scenery is absolutely beautiful, making it a very quiet and peaceful place to spend the day. The course is well maintained, and the relaxing atmosphere makes every round enjoyable. On top of that, the staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. If you're looking for a scenic course with a great atmosphere and excellent customer service, I highly recommend Eaglewood Golf Course!
Great course
Eaglewood Resort is a great course. It is a shorter course, but very challenging. The pace was good . I have played the course before and would play it again. It is always a good time.
