One of Chicagoland’s Bedt
Played the course several times this season and it’s always a fun course to play. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Fairways and greens are well maintained and everyone in my golf group is always looking forward to our next round on this course.
Great Course
If you like a course that’s forgiving and In beautiful condition, this is for you.
Quality Course
It had rained the night before and early in the morning, so the course was especially wet. The course was tight and if you slice or hook excessively, you'll be on the next hole's fairway or two holes over. The developer fit 18 holes on a small plot of land, but the course is well maintained and offers challenging holes.
Always a Good Time to Play
This is about the fourth time I've played Eaglewood, and it always a good time. The course is beautiful and they have several short par 4 holes that makes birdies possible even from the tips. The course is well maintained and has its share of challenges especially traps guarding the greens. They increase the challenge of the short holes by strategic pin placement. Most of the times I've been there the course is never overcrowded and is a hidden gem. The other thing I really appreciate about this course is that the carts have a cooler attached to put your beverages in with ice and they have ball a club washers attached. Such thoughtfulness for a special course.
Resort Style Course
Fun course. Very short and fairly easy. Great place to bring someone that might be a high handicapper. Greens were rolling slow when we played but I can see how they can protect against low scores if they were running faster. Simple drive from downtown Chicago/Airport.
Old Nordic hills
Great place to play . Friendly staff and nice course conditions . Challenging enough for the intermediate golfer . Will play again .

The course cancelled my tee time
I got a call 2 hours before tee time that my tee time was unavailable now and I could either change to a time later in the day or get a refund.
I had to find a different course at the last minute which was very challenging on a Saturday morning. Perhaps this was an accident, but given the proximity to my tee time it felt like I was replaced with someone else that the course gave higher priority to.
Good but challenging course
Don’t let the overall yardage fool you, this place is tough! Tons of elevation changes as many of the holes go back and forth across a large valley. So lots of downhill tee shots then uphill approaches at the green. Course was in great shape when we played, and even though it was Fathers Day by getting out early we never had any waiting.
