Need TLC
Need to cut the rough. Water the greens if not the fairways. Staff was very friendly. Two twosomes in front put together, but backed up the course with extremely slow play. Skipped ahead and smooth sailing the rest of the round. Should have rangers keeping pace. Hope you get back to pre-pandemic form as I remember course better maintained. I’d give this. Purse another shot in the future and hope to see some improvements.
Not bad!
Always having great time playing at this golf course. I don’t know why but always couple par 4 and one par 5 cart path only!
Farther’s Day Round
Enjoyed the round. Pace was good as we only had to wait a couple times for the group ahead of us. Greens were in very good shape but there were a few tee-boxes and fairways that need some attention specially in the back nine but overall the course was in good condition.
Terrible
Poor quality
Women’s tee box worst I have ever seen in 40 years of golf
They were unkept and my wife felt she was teeing off a rough.
Not worth the money asked.
I have played at other Marriott resorts this happened to be the worst I have ever seen.
Won’t be back
I have been playing for 40 years
Will never come back worst course I have played in..
Women’s tee box the worst I have ever seen
It was like teeing off Scottish rough..
Put some some money into it
The place has promise
Disappointed
Kind of burned out, no water, no ball washers, traps uneven and a strange front vs. back 9. Someone else mentioned the water smells.. and it does. A picture of the on course bathroom.
Good Hot Deal Course
At this point I would only recommend Cranes Landing as a last minute ‘Hot Deal’ for <$50. Because of lack of play the greens are ok, but the rest of the course really needs some TLC.
It’s really too bad; a few years ago when it was a true resort course it was a really nice track with small, elevated & well protected greens along with tight bent grass fairways. It was a short but challenging course that required all of your clubs & every shot.
Hopefully they put some money into it & return it to its former self.
Great staff - very friendly. Played Memorial Day weekend and the pace of play was awesome. May want to maintain the rough a little. Still a favorite.
back 9 wet
only 4 holes on the back, wind on some 3 clubs cross on the rest.
