“When A Course Gives You Lemons, Make Lemonade !”
Have played here 1-2 times a year for the past 5 years. I’ll cut to the chase : is it a true “Resort” course right now? Absolutely not - it looked and played today like your average hacker’s favorite muni. Many (but not all) of the slamming review comments are still valid today. But, if you keep your expectations at a realistic level, and especially if you can score a hot deal price like I did, you’ll be happy overall with your experience here, whereas if you pay full price, yeah you’re going to feel cheated and be upset. So just go with the flow, enjoy the fact you’re even able to get out and play right now (remember March / April, when you would have killed to play anywhere ?) and remember , YOU’RE still on the “right side of the grass” - and then you’ll have a good enough day here.
Look elsewhere
Just terrible all around. A card in the cart said they are working on the course conditions. No sign of this anywhere on the course. 5hr round to boot.
Eh
Eh. I don’t know how they can charge $50 to play here. I kinda feel like a sucker paying it. Would only recommend playing here if there are no other times available within 25 miles and you have the itch to play.
COURSE NEEDS MORE CARE
Beside the course needing more care, it was relatively OK. The staff is always kind and easy to accommodate. The staff should be a more attentive to the first tee box, as single players were going off in front of four sums, and a single behind us.
only play here if it's very cheap to do so
-- very tight course
-- undulating greens make putting difficult
-- fairways in terrible shape
This course can be a little tricky to shoot your handicap if you don't play correct tees. The greens were rolling true. course needs time to recover from wet spring. many challenges with crowned greens . These greens will challenge your putting skills, especially longer putts. I trust they will get it back to tip top shape & it will be a gem once again. .
used to be great !!
fairways in bad shape , can’t find your ball in the rough . grass not maintained ... greens not the worst but could be better . I lost balls w/o even going out of bounds ...
Great staff members
Today’s course pace was poor due to outing and condition of the course was terrible. I’m surprised this course is a part of Marriot resort?

First nine was perfect. Back nine was in bad condition.
Tony's mini review
Very nice course, but fairways on back 9 and hole 8 were in less tha average condition.
Greens were in good shape, and not extremely fast.
I enjoyed playing this course, but needed a cart.
Worst condition ever
I used to like this course. However, the course is getting worse and worse every year. The course is poorly maintained or not maintained at all. Fairway and tee box are full of dirts and weeds. Each green has inconsistent rolls. I do not recommend it even if the price is less than $10 per round.
Rough all around
Course has deteriorated over the years and this was worst conditions I've seen. Many fairways were rough and in poor condition. Weeds off the fairways were high and encroaching onto the course. Can't take cart into lot to pick up clubs (which has always been the case) but still inconvenient. No beverage cart out on course on a day that was well into the 90s. Greens were slow and some patchy. I know it is a tough year for courses with the virus, but many others in the area in much better condition and operated.
The course needs attention
The fairways t boxes and greens are in serious need if attention. This course had a great deal of water in May and they haven’t taken care if damage
no kidding worst course
I have never seen a course in worse condition, it’s repulsive that they charge $40 a head. Standing water EVERYWHERE. I did not hit a shot on dry firm ground. Course design is a joke, most par 4s are short and tight, and I can’t help but feel like I’ve played 9-hole courses on larger pieces of property. When we made the turn, nobody was in the pro shop for us to buy drinks from. We waited for 20 minutes and just decided to throw some cash on the counter with hopes that we were covering what we purchased (which we found out as we teed off on 10 was spot on-to the penny) To top it all off the regulars all float around the course and play whatever hole they want, whether or not you’re pulling up to the tee box they’re pulling up to. When confronted, they pretend to be lost. 3 of them asked us if the hole we were on was the second hole. I award this course no points, and may god have mercy on the souls of those who play it.
