About Dale Hollow Lake State Park Resort
The Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park's Mary Ran Oaken Lodge, built of limestone and timbers, sits high atop a bluff overlooking the 28,000-acre Dale Hollow Lake and surrounding woods. The private balconies of the 60 rooms showcase the cliffs, as does the restaurant. There are also 145 campsites and cabins. Popular activities are typical of the state park chain - basketball, biking, hiking, birding, boating (there's a marina with slips and rentals available), caving, eagle watching, fishing, horseback riding, swimming at an outdoor pool, mini-golf and golf on the longest state park course at 7,023 yards.Facts

going to keep getting better
the course was in great shape considering they punch the greens the fairway and rough was mowed good they are working on repairing the bunkers they redid a lot but still got several to do only can redo as many as the state allowed them so as soon as the greens heal up should be in super shape keep up the good work
Great Cource. But some players lack golf courtesy
First 9 was great. Fast pace only ones on front side. Got to tee box on 10 and find a foursome in fairway and a foursome at the tee. Not sure where the came from. Think they hAd to have started on 10. Never allowed us to pass. We waited on every shot. What a bunch of knuckleheads.
Always worth the 2 hour plus Drive to play here!
We love this Course, if it were not so far away we would play it alot! Sometimes we take are RV to the RV park located very close to the Golf Course and play 2 to 3 times while we are Camping. The course has always been well maintained and is Challenging with some beautiful scenic holes, always see a deer or two and most of the times Turkey. If you have never played here you need to give it a go!
Golf Trip
Course was nice, somewhat challenging, with hilly fairways and greens. The course was in tip top shape and plays very well. Staff was awesome and views are great. I will definitely play here again.
Beautiful Course
WOW! Beautiful course that was in excellent condition. Well worth the 2 hour drive from home. There was a lot of rain on previous days , but course drains well and we were able to do 90 degrees. Challenging but fair. Wider fairways and greens that were receptive to most shots. Greens rolled true and were a little tricky to read. Staff was very friendly and allowed me to play even though I was very early for tee time. A great day of golf and I would highly recommend to anyone to go play this course. I will be back!!
Great course and layout
Course is beautiful and while challenging it is also forgiving. Great hole layout also. Love this course.
Great Course
Course was in great shape. The bunkers are not in the best of shape that was the only reason it’s not a five star
Always a great time playing with a lot of challenging holes
We drive 2 hours to play this course. Love the layout and the challenges it has to offer. Course was in good condition and nice to see they are working to improve the bunkers! Look forward to playing it more this Summer!

If they would ever fix the sand traps it would be amazing , only reason I gave four stars instead of 5

a great course everything was mowed good the greens putted quick only thing they need to fix the bunkers which they have been doing when the state let them they have fixed several more since I last played there keep up the good work
