Very playable
This course is in great shape! Greens and fairways are exceptional. The layout is very playable.
very nice
from tee to green, this course was in very good shape, with some of the faster greens i have played this year. playability is excellent, with the varying tee options, while not overly long. staff was friendly. the back nine was especially fun. definitely would go back and play.
Good resort style course
Played the course on 9/21/2013 early in the morning. The course is in good condition and the preserved wildlife areas around the course add to its beauty. The only drawback to the course are the views of fast food restaurants and cheap hotels and the roar of cars on the nearby roads. It does not lend itself to a feeling of being at one with nature! Still, it is a well maintained Marriott resort style course.
very nice place
excellent course for the average golfer, starts with a easy par 5 to get you going, love this place. very well maintained friendly staff no issues play it about 4 times a yr and drive an hr to do so
Awesome facility
Great staffand another well-run Marriott golf course. despite some aeration of the greens and a few fairways, the value and staff attentiveness more than made up and the technique used on the greens will result in even more phenomenal greens in another day or two, The only negative I can say is they have no driving range; justa few mats and nets to hit in to.
Nice Resort Course
Course was in great condition, except for sand traps. They were hard with no sand. And there are lots of sand traps.
Course was in great shape
The course conditions were excellent: fairways, tees, greens, bunkers (unfortunately I went in a few). The back nine requires much more accurate drives than the front nine, but the course is very playable and can be as tough as you want it depending on the set of tees you choose.
The course was great.
The bad part was we didn't get to start at our tee time, was 20 minutes later. Then no one paid attention to the pace of play of the fousome in front us. They played extremely slow and the twosome in front of us never pushed to get around them. We had to be somewhere by a certain time. We ended up having to skip a hole to make sure that we reach home in time to meet our daughters bus. We have never had such a terrible time at this or any course!!!
Good course.
If you tip it out, the par threes are some of the longest in the state. Number 8 measured out at 230 yards. One on back was 222 yards. Some easy par 5s but 9 was LONG.
Not worth paying full price.
Nice course
Well maintained, tighter course, 5 par 3's, some challenging narrow fairways, not worth the $75 they want to walk up and play, but if you can get a deal it's worth it.
Beautiful course, great condition, friendly, helpful staff.
The course was in great shape from tee boxes to greens. Bunkers were plush and maintained. Fairways cut to perfect height. Overall, a wonderful experience and value.
Golfnow only...
I have played at Marriot several times over the past few years, it goes down just a little more each year. The regular green fees are around $60, the course is not worth that, if you catch a good discount on golfnow for $25-$30, jump on it, it is well worth that price. They need to work on their bunkers, need some actual sand not dirt, fairways and greens in very good condition. My biggest gripe there this past Saturday was there was not a single water cooler on the course and no cart girl going around to sell anything to drink. If you want a cool drink of water or other, get it at the clubhouse at the start and at the turn, otherwise, you are going thirsty....
Nice course
Only problem I observed was that the bunkers could use sand I found them to be very thin lacking sand.
nice mix not too difficult
Well maintained fast greens would love to play again
Course was enjoyable to play very fair and still challenging. Holes on back nine start to snake around some housing but still fun to play.
Was a fun course to play good tee boxes, fairways and greens with pretty decent bunkers. The back nine does run into some houses on certain holes but does not take to much away from the 9. 4 sets of tees for variety of distances. It is a fair course to score good on, but still have to play good golf.
This course is accommodating to all levels of golfers.
I've played this course for several years and it has gotten better every time I visit. The staff is always friendly and the course is always beautiful. Although it's not the longest course from the tips, it's design presents a challenge to all levels of golfers. However, it's still friendly to beginners. The only thing I see that needs a little work are the bunkers. Some of them are a little thin in sand and sometimes get hard-pan. Overall, a very nice course!
Beautiful course / slow pace.
Well maintained resort course with great greens, can be a good challenge for all players from proper tees. Only draw back, being a resort course seems to get a lot of 1st time and senior players slowing down play. Staff very friendly and helpful.
very nice course, fair but challenging, greens fast when dry.
I rated this course 4 out of five score, it is in great condition and the greens are really nice. About 6200 yards from the blues which is what I like to play. Cost is good at $45 but not at $70, go through golf now for the lower rate.Just a couple of things that they could improve on, one is provide some sort of pre made hot food for the morning crowd. Two is let people know when they are on the tee box and on deck, this takes care of any misunderstandings.
Well maintained greens rolling good
Play from back Tees for better golf experience. Par threes all long. Variety of par 5s reachable as well as requiring 3 good shoots. No driving range
You can make it as hard as you want with the tee options.
The course was in good shape. The greens were rolling great and had some hold to them. I got a hot deal and it was well worth it!
