Nice Course
First time playing this course. It was in great condition and the layout is great. Very challenging and the scenery is beautiful. The only complaint I have is the lack of water coolers on the course. We only saw one and a water fountain at each of the two restroom areas. For the price we paid, I'd think it would be a no brainer for this course to provide 4 or 5 more water coolers, especially since you don't circle back by the clubhouse at the turn.
Very Hot Golf
Tee off at 100 pm 4 men 60 plus years old
finished 445 pm hot but Fun.
A HIDDEN JEWEL
Best golf experience in a long time An unbelievably beautiful golf course. From the scenery to course maintenance to a super friendly staff this place was something special.
I’ve played golf from California to Florida and this was top three for me. Nicest course in Louisiana hands down. The only glitch was three young men playing loud music from their cart interrupting an otherwise peaceful environment.
A long drive but worth it. Will play again soon!
Wow!
This course has the wow factor at all levels.
Not many courses do.
Just go.
Hard course
The course is really hard for golfers with a higher handicap. There’s several greens that have dead patches of grass but the fairways seem to be well maintained. Once these greens get back on track, the course will be really nice.
Golf on the hill
My brother and I had a great time playing the newly renovated golf course. I recommend playing it, lots of fun and challenging.
CB golf
Staff was friendly, questions about golf now website, course is still growing, views are incredible. All in all 3 out of 5.
The Renovation Was an Incredible Improvement
Second time to play CB since the recent renovation. Previously there were some funky holes…for example on the par 5 10th you could only hit a 6 or 7 iron tee shot, then have a 280-300 yd 2nd shot. An entirely new tee box makes this hole playable now. The fairways are great, basically 100% bermuda. The greens are very good except for a few spots on 3 or 4 holes (and of course I seemed to hit into the bad spots).
Overall this is a fabulous course in my opinion. Besides being a great course, the scenery is world class.
Nice course but…..
Course is in pretty good shape but there are no ball wash stations anywhere on course. And only one maybe two water stations and limited trash cans on course.
Greens need work
Had Sony type if fungus issue with quite a few dead spots. Also had 100s of giant ants on every green. Very weird. Nice course though.
