First time playing this course
The course is in excellent shape. Manicured tee boxes. Lush fairways. Greens are in excellent condition. Golf carts are stylish and comfortable. No gps. No ball washers. Greens are slow. Elevation changes will make you grab an extra club. Beautiful views. Course is outstanding.
1st time playing this course
My first impression was the course was absolutely beautiful! Tee boxes were manicured to perfection. Fairways were lush. Carts are very comfortable. Very stylish. Greens were beautiful as well. I play golf about once a week. I normally play Oakwing, Tamaka trails. There greens run around 10-11 on stemp. I would think these greens run about a 6 maybe 7. Very very slow. Only bad things I can say about the course. Slow greens. And 20 range balls for $5. Be prepared to hit a xtra club on every shot. The elevation changes will demand it. Overall 5 stars! Great course to play!
HORRIBLE
Do NOT recommend!!! SLOW SLOW SLOW, had to wait every single shot hit, only played 12 holes and took 4 hours!!! Would have taken over 6 to finish! Tournament going on and was completely backed up, horrible management, not friendly at all, everyone has a chip on their shoulder towards you! Do not recommend whatsoever!
Seen better
Course was in fair condition but it April. Will get dry and super hard fairways in summer and fall. For being recently renovated I expected better.
Still needs a lot of work
A mayor front had come through and the course was really wet, cart path only, of course. In their defense, it was early spring and the grass wasn’t fully awake yet. There are a lot of bare spots and the greens were unbelievably slow. I’m going to have to get some really positive feedback to go try it again.
On the positive side, I really did like the layout of the course. I’d heard they had a 5 million dollar renovation recently, I would have hated to seen it prior.
Very nice!
Great layout, great course, very good shape and very scenic course. Highly recommended.
Beautiful Course
Hands down one of the prettiest courses in Louisiana. Would absolutely recommend to anyone to play. An amazing bargain if you get it for a GN hot deal rate. To garner the $95 green fees, need a bit more work to make it “resort / casino” cost point. For sure taking advantage of limited nice courses in the area.
Despite that, this always my first choice having to drive 45 min minimum from Leesville to play any quality courses.
Very nice
Great experience nice people Me and my Grandson had a great game highly recommend
Overpriced
The golf carts are nice but for the price you would expect a lot nicer course. The layout by the lake is nice just not worth the money and drive. Definitely not the place to bring friends that don’t get to play a lot.
Absolutely beautiful course with many lake views.
The course is in amazing winter golf conditions with green fairways and tee boxes, along with greens rolling smooth. The staff is always friendly. One of the best places to play in SW Louisiana. Would be a $100 course if in the Lake Charles area. This course is nice than any of those resort courses.
Over priced
The course was fun and everyone was very nice, the only issue was the price for what the course has to offer. It is a bit over priced and the greens has some scalped and dead areas which im guessing if because of the lack of rain. All in all we had a good time just wish the price was a little better
Surf & Turf 2024 in the books
Made what we like to call our Annual Fall Surf & Turf trip to beautiful Lake Toledo Bend. Biggest reason we choose Toledo Bend this year is because of Cypress Bend Golf Course.
Beautiful and tuff layout, with awesome views of the lake on the back nine. You need to put this course on your bucket list for sure! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.
Although the fishing part of the trip sucked, the golfing part more than made up for it.
