Been good in the past.
Showed up to find out we had three temporary greens. Only two greens didn’t have large burnt out spots. Fairways were in good shape. The pro shop didn’t tell us about temporary greens the starter did.
I have always enjoyed playing this course, I was very surprised to see the conditions.
Staff was very friendly
We were nervous, cause we haven’t never played on a course that Big and fancy and the staff made us very comfortable
Greens
Until the conditions with several greens are rectified, and I'm aware there are being addressed, the course is outrageously overpriced at this time.
Greens are shot
There are major green turf issues on the entire property. Fairways were full of piles of grass clippings. Not a good showing.
Love course except greens
When making reservation I should have been alerted the greens were punched and sanded the day before I played
Not worth the cost
Greens very dry with patches of grass ..for what you pay greens in bad condition
Disappointing
Upon check-in, we were informed that the driving range is closed, due to a "tournament" next weekend. Then we were advised that hole #4 is out of service, due to a water line leak. No where on their website are either of these issues mentioned. Greens were covered with invasive grasses, making putting difficult
Contraband Bayou Condition
Course was in far less better shape than usual. Greens were horrible with cups that haven’t been changed out in days. Tee boxes were sand and dead grass. Range was closed as well. Fairways were decent.
Overpriced and slow pace of play
Fairways inundated with weeds, bunkers not raked, greens dead and sanded. Only played 14 holes because we got impatient and passed three groups of 8. Overpriced for the experience. Go to the Nugget.
Sunny cool day playing golf
Courses in great shape fairways and greens were great weather beautiful
