Condition was Average

Some greens were a little spotty and some had dry spots around them. Beverage cart girl was the only way to get drinks, nothing available in the club house.

Worth the Trip

The course was wide open due to approaching weather., so pace of play was not an issue. The tee boxes and fairways were in good shape. However, some of the edges around greens kind use some attention. The practice areas were completely jammed packed by Korn Ferry tour guys, because of the tournament at Golden Nugget’s course two days later.

Contraband Bayou is a nice layout with generous fairways and greens. The Bermuda is well established and the greens roll smooth. It’s well maintained and very enjoyable.
