Disappointed
Second time playing this Hyatt location, I wasn’t happy last time so I figured I would give it another chance two years later but it was exactly the same …the greens were in good condition but that was the only thing ..the bunkers were bad not raked footprints from animals in everyone, the fairways were not great , the rough was more weeds than rough … for as much as they charge and it being associated with Hyatt one would think it would be a top notch course but far from it ..save your time and money and go somewhere else .. I’m never going back
Top notch course but not a resort
Beautiful course. Well maintained greens and fairways. The challenge on this course is the rough! The only issue I had with the course is much of the rough, which was super high, was infested with clover. It's one challenge to play out of high rough but more so when there's clover and your game gets distracted while searching for your white ball!!
Not Quite Resort Golf
The course itself can be challenging due to its exposure to wind. The tee shot on 17th hole, particularly, was challenging with its carry over water and a 2-club more into the wind. There were a few holes which your driver is limited due to the end of the fairway before a hazard area. The greens are in great condition and run fast! Some tee boxes are worn as there must not have an irrigation system. Same true for the practice area. Very worn practice tees. There was no starter which can create issues as we experienced when a group late to arrive jumped ahead of us on the first hole. There also is no roaming ranging to keep pace of play. Our roam should have been quicker but one group caused us to wait for 16 of 18 holes. There was a roaming cart that have beverages but no substantive food. You’d need to get that in the clubhouse which the course doesn’t go nearby. Lastly, no OnCourse bathroom. No a big deal for guys, but is one for women.
Incredible
I have to say River Marsh was the best day of golf in the past 10 years, the weather was perfect. the course is in tip top shape and the pace of play was perfect. Can't wait to play there again next week.
Challenging yet enjoyable
Exceeded expectations. Well designed course. Would play again
Disappointed ☹️
When you pay a lot of money you expect it to be worth THD cost and the condition were horrible. The rough had not been cut in over a week so it hurt to hit out of rough! The greens and tee boxes were chewed up. The layout was good except for the bottle neck of par 3’s …I was looking forward to playing this course for sometime but completely disappointed!
Can’t wait to go back
First time playing and now I’m looking forward to my next round. There are several “signature holes” but the last two are amazing. If it was closer to me it might be a once a week play.
