About
The Hyatt River Marsh Golf Club is Maryland's leading Eastern Shore golf course. The classic design incorporates challenging elements including sculpted bunkers and mature trees but balances them with wide, player-friendly fairways and inviting greens. Water has a prominent presence on the course with Shoal Creek meandering through the course and the Choptank River serving as a backdrop to many of the greens. The riverside golf course has the look and feel of a seaside links course. The final two holes are the golf course's most memorable. The par-3 17th requires a dramatic carry over Shoal Creek to a large green strategically guarded by three bunkers. The 17th is a challenging and scenic hole but it only sets the scene for Hyatt River Marsh Golf Club's final hole. Touted as one of the best holes in the Mid-Atlantic region, this classic risk-reward par 5 has a bunker and the Choptank River running its entire length.

Great Course & super friendly staff.
The greens keepers, bartenders, waitresses, and the course managers were so nice. The course was in fairly good shape. There was definitely some crab grass in some ateas and the putting green isn’t in the best shape. The greens were super soft so they had a ton of ball marks and damage to them. I feel like this is kind of out of their hands giving the fact that it was a bit wet from the rain the past few days. Overall, would recommend this course in a heartbeat. The layout is awesome and although it’s not the longest course, it’s got some tricky holes. I’ll definitely be playing again soon.
What a difference
I haven’t been here in a few years. I’ve played at least 15 rounds. It appears to me that the course has not been maintained. Weeds all over. The greens have bald ares and tons of weeds ON the greens. The tees need cleaning up. I try to remember it as pristine.
Nice
Haven’t played there in over 10 years. Course still long and challenging. Not impressed with conditions of greens. Lots of divots on the greens and small weeds. Fairways are still great!
#17 is still my worst hole with the turf tee box on the white tees and that wind coming in from the Choptank.
Dis-Appointed
Normally this course is in good condition.
WOW, very poor, greens have so much weeds growing though them and could not putt well thru it.
They actually charge $117 in the AM. I would have lost my mind if I paid that. LUCKY I only wasted $46.
Great course-
Great course! I love the Hyatt! The greens however had some crab grass issues. I’m sure it’s from the recent rain and humidity. Still rolled well, and the course is in great shape!
