Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest

In the last week of October the experience of the course condition, fall colors, and mild weather make this place a must visit. The staff have a kind and welcoming demeanor from the pro-shop, grill, and starter hospitality ranks in the top 10 of public courses I’ve played. From tee, fairway, to green it is notable how much care the grounds crew place in their work. Playing the full yardage did not disappoint as I was able to embrace all almost 7,200 yards of architecture. The first three holes set the tone for a challenging but enjoyable experience. Do not let the fall rate at less than $50 for a full 18 make you think it’s anything to pass on…

Play was a little slow but I still recommend this course

Course was beautiful, greens are nice.... they are fast. The starter was very knowledgeable about the course and the greens and gave some great tips. Always enjoy my rounds at Eagle Crest...been playing here since this course opened in 1989

This is a fantastic course. Very tough if you’ve never played and don’t know your shots. Great views everywhere.

Not particularly demanding, but has nice mix of holes and the terrain is varied. Fun course

The course is well maintained.

The scenery is beautiful.

The golf carts are top notch.

Need accurate shots on the holes with water.

Could use some sings for directions to the next hole

The greens are well maintained and take time to read the slopes.

2nd hole has odd large mounds that obscure vision of fairway.

The 11th hole is an odd, goofy dogleg.

Some stakes to delineate the direction of the fairways would help first time golfers.

The menu at the grill is very good with wide range of choices of beers

Staff is friendly

First time playing and the views were amazing. I would love to play again but rain forecasted for tomorrow. Took us five hours due to course was packed but since this was my first time I did not mind.

I really enjoyed experiencing this course for the first time with my dad who was visiting. We both enjoyed it and made great memories. Looking forward to playing it again soon.

This is an excellent facility but something happened on the back nine. A decent pace on the front hit a literal wall on the 13th hole. By the time we finished 12 and arrived at the 13th tee box, there were 4 groups on the hole. The beer cart was sitting there since it was so crowded and there was not a ranger in sight. It took us over 40 minutes to finish hole 13 and did not speed up after that. Hopefully this was just an anomaly and not the norm. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this course.

This is a beautiful course in Wayne county. Everything was in excellent shape even after they had a large event the weekend prior to our visit. The only part of the experience that wasnt up to par way the pace of play. We had a slow group in front of us and it took us over 5 hours to finish 18 as a 2-some.

Played the course after a junior state tournament , it was in fabulous condition. These greens are comparable to any of the best courses I’ve played .
